Are these steps necessary if I’ve deactivated the plugin to get it to stop? Mine too keeps hanging on Divi. Is there an alternative to these queries and WP Crontrol not only to stop the scan but to deal with the hanging issue?

Thanks Shelby. Unfortunately I had to remove GigPress. The site was in active development and I’m just not able to wait this long for support. I know folks are busy but nearly 2 weeks just won’t work for my business. If you/Modern Tribe decide to provide premium support with faster response times I’d be happy to reconsider.

It’s occurring to me that the “artist URL” on the artist creation page may not be auto generated on the site itself, but rather might be assumed to be a URL off-site to an existing performer page. Is that the case or is GigPress supposed to create its own URL for the artist?

Hi Nico. No, I’m actually talking about what happens when I hover over the artist name in the Artists list view, and similar links to that same view such as in The Events Calendar Pro view enabled by their plugin to connect the two plugins. Back in GigPress there’s that Artists page which lists all artists. When I click on an artist the resulting page is a 404. That seems like something that should be getting auto generated in the system, but please advise. Thanks.

As some have found as well, in my case the checkbox in Maps > Settings to over-ride current jQuery with version 1.8.3 was already checked and broke not only the maps but some other non-map functionality as well. Unchecking the box, rather than checking it, fixed all issues.
