Update:
I decided to try a new install of WordPress, but I still get the same error:

“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

Any help would be appreciated.

So I was initially getting the “Domain.com is currently unable to handle this request. 500” error when trying to access my website. I tried disabling the plugins by renaming the plugin folder but that did not work. I do not have any custom themes and I believe it was using TwentyTwelve theme from what I could see from the phpMyAdmin database settings. I found another post suggesting to rename the default theme to another name so I tried renaming “TwentyTwelve” to the “TwentySixteen”, but that generated a new error message.

I changed everything back, but now I’m am only getting the new error message above.
I also tried to update WordPress to 4.5 (was 4.4) and there is no change.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing the same issue
