I think I have a solution for you. You can try and install a rollback plugin. And then please select version 1.8.8 to rollback to. This might solve your problem for now. But please avoid updating to the same version again. You can turn off auto updates of your plugins.

The category list is actually the filter section to be precise.

I am having ditto and exactly same issue. The dashboard runs butter smooth on Firefox however lags like ***** on Chrome. @rogstamp did you find any solution to the problem yet?

Also another issue I find is in the mobile view. When you click on the feature image of travel packages on mobile devices, and then click on the next picture arrow button, the right arrow / next button disappears. But is still clickable though.

@aamahin Thank you very much for your response. I solved the issue while opening each and every travel packages and re-updating every one of them while making some minor changes. Before that every one of them showed the date of availability for booking / purchase with date of two days earlier i.e. if we may suppose today is Thursday, the day of availability should have been from today / tomorrow, but it rather was showing from last Sunday. Customer could have book their package in a date two or three days earlier as well. But the issue was only for old packages, new addition did not show any of such bugs.

Thank You @babylon1999 for your response. I actually use a travel plugin that seems to be creating the issue. The plugin also seems to need those false pages to operate properly. I managed to delete them to trash but not empty it. I also excluded them from my sitemaps so for now the problem has been resolved.

I would however like to keep the deleted products in the trash forever. Is there a way to do it? Does WordPress automatically deletes them permanently or not? Thank You.
