In reply to: [heiv gallery 3] [Plugin: heiv gallery 3] heiv and Gallery3 REST APIHi heiv!
No, it’s only the missing speed that makes it useless for me ?? I would love to use it, but waiting 20sec+ after a click or sometimes even no reaction from the interface any more (not sure if it is my server configuration or the plugin) is simply not acceptable for me.Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [heiv gallery 3] [Plugin: heiv gallery 3] heiv and Gallery3 REST APIHi HeiV,
thanks for your answer. I knew that with allow guest access and the guest can query flag and tried it that way. with the flag set to no and without the flag in gallery3 set to yes I tried it with the gallery3 admin account then. Did not work.
I did get it to work after reading the help tooltip of the gallery url. I tried my gallery url with index.php/ at the end and since then it works. Don’t know why it didn’t without it. The url was set like in the help tooltip – https://www.mysite.com/ with the slash at the end.
As I got it to work now I have to ask – is it normal that it is so slow? After clicking on a gallery in the dialogue that pops up when pressing the “Ajouter une gallerie”-button I have to wait between 20 and 40 seconds. When the thumbnails show up and I choose for example the next page nothing happens – I waited for about 2 minutes ?? I tried changing proxying settings in your plugin with no effect. Am I doing something wrong?

In reply to: Sidebar Widget that displays images linking to an albumThanks very much! Seems to work nice.

@lunapark: I had a similar problem with only several pictures that were uploaded but did not show up. It seems nextgen has issues with withespaces in image file names. I used a tool to multi-rename the filenames via ftp. I deleted the images in nextgen and scanned the folder for new images and voilà ??

In reply to: Sidebar Widget that displays images linking to an albumI would appreciate that, too! Having the sidebar random images from different galleries it would be great to link to the gallery / the image in that gallery to continue browsing in there instead of “only” popping up the image.

In reply to: xGallery [Updated]ok now i have found a possibility to not getting the error, but it’s just commenting out the if clause in xgallery.php line 184
it works fine now and i sawthat the script runs only 1 time through that line. i think this is just a check if the root dir of the gallery is being correctly defined.
when i echo() the $rootpath i get “” as result. is that normal?

In reply to: xGallery [Updated]morning!
@adb: you have got to copy your files into the directory you specified in wordpress options – xgallery. the default dir is /wp-content/gallery/, thet means https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/gallery/ is the right onei used the example-photos.php this way: i renamed it to xgallery.php and copied it into the root dir of WP. then i created a link in WP to that file and i had a link to my gallery on my WP blog.
@zeeg
ok it’s working now with the long word ??
it’s glatzopatzo -> simple german wordplay with glatze, which means i have no hair (:-)but i still get the same error when i call the gallery and when i click on a picture to enlarge it.
the gallery can be accessed by clicking on the “Bildergallerie” link on the lower right of the site https://www.glatzopatzo.de
Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: Unable to access in /home/www/htdocs/stefan-goehring.net/glatzopatzo/wp-content/plugins/xgallery/xgallery.php on line 184

In reply to: xGallery [Updated]Yes I am!
I get the error
Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: Unable to access in /home/www/htdocs/stefan-goehring.net/glatzopatzo/wp-content/plugins/xgallery/xgallery.php on line 184I don’t know what could not be accessed: the directory or the function?
The domain is https://www.glatzopatzo.de and it is forwarded wo https://www.stefan-goehring.net/glatzopatzo
The Default Gallery Path is: /wp-content/gallery/
I tried many other possibilities with this path but i always get the same error.Dirs and files set to 777:
/wp-content/plugins/xgallery.php
/wp-content/plugins/xgallery-options.php
/wp-content/gallery/
/wp-content/gallery/.modified/
/wp-content/gallery/.thumbs/
/wp-content/gallery/.counter (i uploaded an empty text file)There’s a link to the renamed example-photos.php -> xgallery.php on the lower roght of the page “Bildergallerie”. There you will get the above mentioned error.
The xgallery.php is placed in the root of the blog (https://www.stefan-goehring.net/glatzopatzo)I don’t know where i should look for the error, so please help me.
