I am the author of Faster Image Insert, thanks for the heads-up, but could you specify the conflict ? I tried the latest Scissors, it works with Faster Image Insert just fine, and no js error was produced.

I also roughly scanned through Scissors action/filter, there doesn’t seem to be obvious conflicting functions.

in case you’re still looking for a method, try my Faster Image Insert plugin, it’s been working smoothly, with multiple insertion.
