I know this will involve building the integration but I was thinking you will find the way to integrate the two plugins as the author of Mailchimp for wordpress did it.

Probably, the standard for form spam protection is Googles reCaptcha, but I’ve already described the issues I have with it while using your plugin – does not work! We are loosing lots of subscribers.

Also, just figured out there is somebody else asking for the same thing on their support page

I’ve just suggested another solution which in my case works pretty well.

Yes, we do have MailChimp for WP installed. Enabling double opt-in will drastically decrease number of subscribers. It was experimented already.
I’ve seen you have another version now. It is safe to activate the plugin after updating to 1.0.2 ?
How can I add a captcha?

Hi,

We are not using double opt-in. By using it we are losing lots of valuable subscribers. There is just comments form on our pages and I think has nothing to do with it. Everything started 2 days after we enabled the top bar.
Hope it helps and you can find a solution for us. I really like the plugin and unfortunately I had to disable it because of this problem.
