    Hi David

    Oops – looks like a false alarm!

    My post was based on what happened last week and having just re-activated GeoIP Detection in order to take some screenshots, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the issue is no longer apparent.

    So with apologies and thanks for your time, I will mark this as resolved and monitor the situation from here with the plugin left activated.

    Regards

    I managed to fix my issue;

    1. Find out ID of Post / Page
    2. Search for that ID in the wp_postmeta tables in phpMyAdmin
    3. Delete the table entry relating to Groups

    Maybe this will help before you start another thread as WPyogi has suggested.

    Hello

    Can I join in this one too please as we have just updated to WordPress 4.1 on a multi-site install. Have only just downloaded this plugin though, so only experience of it is with WP 4.1.

    1. Activated ok and I set the 3 x re-direct URLs to https://www.mydomain/my-account/

    2. There are 2 Super Admins setup (with network access), but only one (me) is currently active.

    3. The issue is that the active Super Admin cannot now logout?

    4. In case it may be related, we are running Wordfence Security, but as I understand it, the only Login features that Wordfence handles, is limiting the number of failed Login attempts.

    Hope you can help on this and look forward to your comments.

    Hello

    I have just experienced this same issue, so would be interested to hear if / how your issue was resolved.

    In our case too, after removing the group from the Access Restriction setting on the page, the page did not appear to logged out users. So I then deleted the actual Capability itself and it still does not show.

    No change with deactivating theme either and whilst database tables are not showing any errors, I am assuming that this must still be wrongly set in a table somewhere to be causing the on-going issue ?

    Any ideas on this would be great.

    Great – copied the old user role data in that did it, all roles are now showing again!

    Now resolved, so thanks for your help on this.

    Thought I wold have a look at the db tables first. Think I have the correct ones here;

    Main site is on “wrdp1”.
    In the “wp_options” table is “wp_user_roles” which does only contain the roles I previously outlined – Customer, Shop Manager, Email Manager, even if I deactivate theme & plugins etc, isn’t this table going to stay the same?

    I happen to have an old install on “wrdp2” (several months old, so not current) and checked the same table there where I can see all the roles we are looking for – Admin, Editor etc.

    So question I guess is has the data really has gone missing – as opposed to it being blocked by a plugin conflict? And if it has gone missing, can I repair the table by just adding the data from that the old wrdp2 table?

    What do you think . . ?

    No, I remember seeing them in WP a while back when first putting the site together, but the’re not there now. It doesn’t change either even if I deactivate URE . . . so that’s the strange thing?

    Quite understand your points here, especially after what seemed like wading through the mud to get it sorted!

    Now seemed to have made a reasonable workround by identifying the various theme and function files contain the shortcode, then copying them to the app child and amending the child function.php and style.css accordingly to process them.

    Certainly not as neat as the plugin route that you outline, but as that’s beyond my current skill set, so interested to hear if one day this evolves into a future project for you.

    Many thanks

    Thanks for getting back.

    I had already set that, just checked again and it is set as you have suggested, but still no Admin role option showing, hence my query.

    Hi

    Can I jump in on this as I’m having similar kind of issue, except on a multisite.

    I have installed & network activated URE, but am unable to create Site Admin roles for the network sites – the only roles that appear to be available are Customer, Shop Manager and Email Manager?

    I also tried just activating it on the single site I need the extra Admin, but still didn’t show the capability.

    Hope you can help on this.

    Hi

    Sorry but not sure if I understand your request for emailing you a link to my theme? Do you mean that you want a copy of it or link to their website?

    Re your comments on the email subscribe button, understand that ut may not be as well used as the social tabs, but for the opportunity to catch signups I feel that it’s a good thing to have – particularly if it can be dropped straight into a list automatically.

    I guess thought that every user / site will have different preferences ….. and maybe you will end up developing a variety of choices …. that the user drops into the 4 tabs fields that are available?

    Let me know about the theme again & I look forward to seeing the next release.

    Hi

    Thanks for the update & note the good progress.
    Have just re-loaded the latest version & shows a few issues;

    1. Loading, position etc to right side of screen – good

    2. Loading, position etc to left of screen – ok, but the social name tabs are the same – ie. they have not been horizontally flipped, so curved edge faces wrong way.

    3. Unfortunately, bigger issue is that there’s some kind of clash with Woothemes slider, which does not now display. So will need to take Social Slider off again whilst we find a work round for this – any ideas?

    4. Twitter account / feed would not register / display.

    5. Please can you confirm functionality and any settings requirement / development for the 4th tab – Subscribe. Does it only deliver an email to us as interested to know if it can it be made to drop / ping the data to our database?

    Looking good though and hope you can get these items ironed out.

    Cheers
