@borisv – thanks I appreciate your response. I will try the conflict test again that UM recommended.
And thanks to you, I will also try disabling UM and trying the menu without UM. Never thought of that since its not in their test list.
I don’t have enough knowledge to do anything about .js file is not loading the JQuery library asynchronously related issues, not being a programmer.
If I still can’t resolve it will try the roll back method.
Thank you, Boris.
@borisv – thanks – it may be crystial clear to you but it’s not crystal clear to me. Please could you give a fuller explanation.
@verysiberian – Hi Rob, good to hear from you again, you are always so helpful and encouraging. I did not have any cache plugin installed at all, afterwards I installed one to see if maybe it would help, but no difference. But just in case I will re-do the entire conflict test and see if there is any difference – who knows – I may be able to isolate it the second time around.
Thanks again

In reply to: [Admin Private Note on users] Great Plugin, Does what it says!Thank you so much!!!
Yes, you are right of course, thanks for pointing that out.
I will explain it more throughly.
What I did was the follwing:
1 Log into WPA Back office
2 Hold mouse over “Appearance” on left hand menu
3 Cick “menu” on sub menu that slides out
4 On menu page, choose the menu I wish to edit
5. On the menu I wish to edit, delete menu item, i.e. one of the entries on the menu that you normally click and it opens a page that it is linked to
6. Add a new item onto the menu, i.e. on the pages table on the left othe menu that I chose, click the check box of the page I want added to the menu, and then click “Add to Menu” button
7. Click “Save Menu” button
8. Refresh the website to see if the menu changes show up, and they don’t.
9. Clear Cache and cookies and restart browser, no changes.
10. Try in different browser, no changes.
11. Did the plugin / theme conflict test as mentioned in my previous message, no changesLet me know if you think that is sufficient to explain it or not, and if not, please let me know what is unclear so that I can further explain.
Thanks again

Hi Borisv
No, its not the theme’s menu because in the conflict test, I had to disable all plugins except UM and change the theme to twentyfifteen theme, which is a different theme to the one we normally use, and after doing all that we still experience the same problem.
Thanks for asking

Thanks Rob, you are a very kind person.
Has this question just slipped deeply into the pile somewhere and they can’t see it? Normally UM Support answers within a week or so.
Wierd how UM is not answering this, has it just slipped deeply into the pile somewhere and they can’t see it? Normally UM Support answers within a week or so.

The main roadblock is that I can’t manually assign payments to purchases without purchasing another plugin.
I have a policy before I buy any plugins, I thoroughly test their free versions – my test involves private testing and then if that works ok, live testing and member/staff feedback.
And since I can’t accept payments at the moment via any other system other than normal EFT or bank deposits or cash, I’m stumped with EDD having no free plugin for such a basic thing as marking a purchase as paid.
I will have to make a manual system for now until WooCommerce brings out their next version and see if that solves the problem, or unless UM can clarify why their plugin has incompatibilities.
I notice UM dos have a WooCommerce integration plugin, but if the basic woo shop has incompatibility issues with the UM, I doubt the integration plugin would solve that.
Well thanks anyway Rob, but I don’t think EDD is going to work out for us.
I will have to try figure out another solution.
I hope UM can shed some light why their forms don’t work with WooCommerce
LOL Rob, you gave me a good chuckle, and I keep on giving odd barks of laughter thinking of your PITA comment.
Okay, you are 100% right, I am going to have to try different online shopping solutions. I was going into a deep black hole thinking about giving up UM, and your comment above switched on the light.
I do need a shop which handles physical products as well, though, not just digital.
Any reply please?
Any response please?
FEEDBACK FOR UM SUPPORT:
A reply from Woo Commerce support:
I wrote:
I have found that Woo Commerce is causing a conflict with Ultimate Membership Plugin.
Their reply:
Unfortunately we don’t support 3rd party plugins in this regard
The thing is, UM Support, I need a way to accept payments from members, and Woo Commerce is the best option for WP online shop.
If your plugin is conflicting with Woo Commerce, I will be forced to purchase a memberhsip plugin that does not conflict with theirs instead of purchasing yours, and I far prefer your plugin and what you offer in your full bundle so far.
I need to see our system working in the free versions before I will commit to purchasing them.
Please advise, thank you.
Thanks John. Glad you got it sorted.
