Hi Duktyd
Re Membership based content, just to let you know, I have setup UM membership with membrship based content, you just have to play around with the permissions per page or per content how you want it dripped.
I did exactly what you did, with three different membership types.
I found out how to do all that from their user manual on their docs page. It works absolutely perfectly with every test I’ve done.
This is where I found the info how to do it:
https://docs.ultimatemember.com/category/175-content-restrictionSorry can’t help you with the other queries.
Cheers

Hi Gary
I’m not sure if this is what support meant, but if you follow the above steps from support, then in that section you will find a field “Only show specific users (Enter one username per line)” would that help?
Not sure why, but suddenly the Membership Directory is showing up again.
Nothing was updated, no changes to made to settings.
Will mark this one as resolved now.
Great, thanks. Appreciate it.
So far I have had awesome support, considering I paid nothing yet for any plugin.
Just in case you missed it, here is their support policy:
https://ultimatemember.com/support-policy/That is a very good question, I am also very keen to find out about this, thanks.
Hi John, I’m not UM support but through maybe I can help you figure this out.
Sounds like a caching problem on your server.
Did you try other devices such as tablets or smart phones, and different browsers in case it was a brower caching issue. Do you have a cache plugin installed or something like that.
I had a similar issue with another plugin with logouts and it turned out to be a cache plugin that I had to disable.
Also at the time, some people suggested contacting my server host to see what cache settings they had setup, but I did not have to go that far.
Hi El, I’m not support, I just thought I could try help you figure it out.
Was there any updates done in the intervening time, updates to any other plugins for example, or your server host doing any updates.
What error message is displayed when users try to login? Or doesn’t the login page show at all.
I decided to disable all new plugins to test for a conflict. I disabled them all, no difference.
So then I enabled them one by one, no difference.
EXTRA INFO:
I have a multi-site setup.
UM is setup and active on only one site on the multi-site.
The only extra plugins I had installed in since the members directory last worked, was WooCommerce and The Events Calendar,
The rest listed above were not installed yet, just on my to do list.
If anyone has any suggestions why Member Directory would suddenly not show for public viewing, I would be very appreciative, and keen to try what you suggest.
Thanks!
Hi
Apologies for such a long reply, I could not do anything until now due to other committments.
Since your message above, has that pre-release now become an official release? I think there was an upgrade, but I need confirmation, I don’t want to now install the wrong pre-release.
And another issue cropped up with members directory and member profiles not showing unless logged in as administrator, so I have a separate issue opened about that now.
Thanks!
Well I just recently installed Woo Commerce, Events Manager and Affiliate Manager, so maybe there is a major conflict somewhere.
See my issue posted here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/member-directory-stopped-diplaying/Which would be odd since Ultimate Members has plugins to allow integration for these?

Wow, I’m so glad it worked for you apart from those fields.
Yes, I agree re documentation. Hopefully someone from this plugins admins will see this and send it forward as a suggestion.
I’m unsubscribing to this thread now ?? Best wishes for figuring out that last bit.

Hi Miles
It was only a pleasure.
We haven’t had any issues at all with the email content after editing, but then we did not test it as you did, and our HTML Setting is off. The changes were immediate.
I wonder if it is something in another section of UM Settings? Did you check every setting option outside of the email settings?

I would also like to know how to do this, thanks.
