Hi Miles, do you think maybe its the native wordpress plugin?

I had that problem on another website, when a person registered, the email notifications sent were both the ones sent by wordpress and those sent by the membership registration email handler.

I resolved this by installing this plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/manage-notification-emails/

I could specify which ones to suppress that were being sent automatically by WordPress.

Let me know if that helps at all.

Found it.

For anyone else with this question, you go to settings, appearance and profile menu. I just turned the whole menu off.
