Me too! I have tried everything, I set up reCAPTCHA v3 so thought it was that but on reading it says spam but I’m not sure how to fix that as it wasn’t spam.

any clues I would be very grateful no clients can contact my business!

ok under the php manager on the host control panel I could see the domain was updated to php8 so I’ve moved it back to 7.4 and now I can log in.

I presume I need to run all my updates and work out whats causing the clash, plug in I presume?

thank you for getting back to me, I have been through my emails from my hosting service and I received one to say the php was being updated . Unfortunately I ignored it as it was sent last weekend and my mum passed away. Is there anything I can do?

thank you for your reply, I have managed to get into the files in the host control panel and it says PHP version: 7.3.32.

I’ve read about this but I’m unsure how to change the php or what in it is causing the class.

I think I’ll have to just admit defeat and use the back end editor and make slow progress and also wait until an update works!

I know I have read elsewhere that this is the case but it still doesn’t work so in the mean time I need another way. Can I use a previous version of wordpress as it’s obviously not working with 4.8.1

I’m following this and I’ve tried all the things suggested. It won’t let me update to 5.2.1 it just keeps saying WPBakery Visual Composer: Update package not available.

From what I can find I have to buy a separate license ? I feel like x theme owners has wiped it’s hands with it and so it won’t update automatically anymore.

Any help will be really appreciated!

I’m following this thread as I also can not use the front end editor with visual composer and I can’t seem to get it to work anymore.

I’ve deactivated all plug ins and re activated them with no luck. I’m running wordpress 4.8.1 and visual composer 5.1.1 and x theme 5.1.1 .

Any ideas anyone? I can’t edit anything!

solved! thanks for that I was trying to edit it on wordpress rather than going into the file management and replacing the file!

Wish wordpress would update the plug in!

I’m having the same problem – but I’m a complete newbie to this! how do I add the new updated version to wordpress? or what’s .swf file? Like I said I’m learning as I go but don’t want to add another media player as this one fits perfectly with the look of the site I’m creating.

Any help will be greatly recieved!
