Yep, all plugins deactivated. The comments show up fine on the default theme so it’s definitely theme specific, but I can’t see where, I even tried copying the comments file from the default theme but with the same result.
It’s probably some minor overlooked error and I’ll kick myself when I find it or if it’s pointed out to me.
