It was a conflict with the Avada theme. In case anyone else has the issue, under Performance > make sure Load jQuery In Footer is off.

@psypat are you using Chrome? I was getting the error until I performed the latest Chrome update.

@danieliser turns out I do have a little issue still. The following two pages are being blocked successfully.

The forum pages are created by bbpress. I tried blocking forums, topics, and replies with the following content restrictions:

IF Content Is A Forum Archive and
IF Content Is A Forum and
IF Content Is A Topic Archive and
IF Content Is A Topic and
IF Content Is A Reply Archive and
IF Content Is A Selected Page: MMCA Members Forum

Clearing cache did not help. How can I block these pages so no content can be seen? I have the protection set up the same way as the pages that are working, for the content to be replaced with the Membership page.

Thank you for the fast reply @maybellyne! Yes that is what I want to happen. I understand now why it isn’t working. I looked at the link but I will be honest, I have very little experience with editing the functions file and filters. Do you have a link by chance of the exact code I would need?

Nevermind, it is working now, just took a while before it happened. Must have been caching.

I went with a different plugin. This was not working at all with Avada.
