@smft Hi, it may happen if you upgrade from older version, Can you share you site details please, so we can check there an fix that.
Probably the easiest way would be to add additional leave policies for the migration year and the over booking. For example add one called ‘Over-booking’ for leave outside the normal limits or ‘Year 1 partial’ for the transitional period. Booking leave to those would make it visible and recordable and leave a ‘clean’ policy for standard leave.
Also see the leave module support docs here: https://wphrmanager.com/docs/wp-hr-manager/3-0-leave-management-module/Hi
Yes that all sounds do-able in the platform. You can find out how the Leave module works here https://wphrmanager.com/docs/wp-hr-manager/3-0-leave-management-module/
We also have an employee manual online and the leave section, showing what the employee will see, is here
https://wphrmanager.com/docs/employee-user-manual/3-0-employee-profile/3-3-leave/
Please feel free to install the free WordPress version and have a play as this is probably the best way to check that it meets your requirements.
Best wishes,
PaulHi
I understand from the support engineer that he has had a long discussion with you but that you were not willing to carry out some of the tests he requested and this made diagnising the issue almost impossible. We recommended testing an alternative theme. This is a standard test for a fault and only a five minute job to swap it over and then revert. It will confirm that it is a theme issue, but I believe that you were advised by your developer that this would take 8 hours? We have offered to assist with this but were declined access and as we do not own a copy of your theme this has meant we are not able to properly investigate and if necessary fix the issue.
Our support team can only do a limited amount by email and if you cannot supply a copy of the theme for us to test and won’t do the tests we advise, we cannot help further. We are very happy to assist with bugs and problems and we have thousands of users with different themes that work perfectly, so if your particular theme is an issue then we need access to it or we need you to carry out the tests we request if we are to make any progress.
The only way we can investigate this properly without direct access to your site would be if you can provide a copy of the theme for us to install and test ourselves. As I hope you can appreciate, it is not possible for any plugin provider to test every one of the tens of thousands of WordPress themes that exist and so we can only investigate issues as and when they arise with the specific theme causing the problem. We would be happy to do this for you.
Can I add, on another note, that I think it is inappropriate to ‘name and shame’ a support technician for their language skills when they are doing their best to assist you. You may feel that they lacked ‘an understanding of the issue’ but to assume that this is because of their english skills and to accuse them of this in a public forum is not acceptable. We have reported this to WordPress and I believe the comments have now been removed.

Hi – this issue has been resolved.
Hi
The plugin is fully functioning and has now been moved out of Beta.
I find this review puzzling as well as unfair. The plugin is simply intended to show a family tree on a page or post – and it does so to the satisfaction of over 1000 users. It is not advertised as a replacement for a fully featured family history desk top application nor could it possibly replicate the power of a multi-million doller cloud based business like MyHeritage. Frankly, the review is unrealistic and unreasonable.
We have taken on board the point about the drop downs and added a date of birth to assist users in distinguishing multiple ancestors with the same name.

In reply to: [TreePress - Easy Family Trees & Ancestor Profiles] Lacking DirectionsThere is a complete set of documentation including videos showing how to use the plugin on our site at https://treepress.net/docs/treepress/ and this is linked to from the plugin WordPress page.
A 1* review because you could not locate the support documentation!???

In reply to: [BookPress - For Book Authors] Why is it locked to such a small size?Hi
The idea with the plugin was to create a ‘book like’ feel on a PC screen. That’s why it has ‘pages’ with plenty of ‘paper/space’ around the text – just like a printed book would have space around the textand not run right up to the edge of the paper. It’s not designed or optimised for use on mobiles – it’s meant for a PC screen. If you want to ‘fill’ the screen with text, then a normal WordPress page or Post would do that.
Also, we have to control the size of everything so that, for example, footnotes will appear on the page where the reference for them is – if fonts/text can just flow over multiple pages and these can all change size, it’s much harder to ensure that other book elements like the annotations appear in the correct place.

In reply to: [WP Genealogy - Your Family History Website] Return to HomeHi
Once you are in the WPGenealogy microsite we don’t have a link back to the ‘main’ site – it’s a good idea though and we’ll look into adding one.
Paul
Great thank you for the answer. I’ll cross my fingers that this feature is added soon and see if I can use your work around in the meantime.
Great that workded. Thank you.

Yes you do have to translate it if no one else has yet done it. In this case someone has done some already. Developers don’t generally translate the plugins – it’s done as a ‘WordPress Community’ thing. WordPress has a portal for Users to translate plugins, but it is a bit cloncky – translators have to have their work approved and only when you get 95% done will it actually show up. Currently only 50% of the Dutch translation is done so we have to use a manual work around to provide the translation to users. If you want to add translation suggestions on the page link I sent you then feel free as it will grow the amount translated – just focus on any key terms you need users to see and add it to your plugin using the same method you just tried – and we can copy the file back into the live plugin for you periodically so you don’t loose the translations when we issue updates.
I’ll get the current file inlcuded in our next update and it should be automatic from there.
