In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Course List HooksI’m afraid this question is beyond the scope of any support we can offer here. We will, however, keep this thread open, in case someone from the community is willing to provide further help here.
There are resources available outside our support you can use. It sounds like you may have already discovered our list of hooks, but just in case, it’s here: https://automattic.github.io/sensei/ . The Course List block is an extension of the Query Loop block that is part of WordPress core. You may find the documentation on extending the Query Loop block here helpful as well: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/block-editor/how-to-guides/block-tutorial/extending-the-query-loop-block/

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Captcha Not Showing .First, I recommend you double-check that all your reCAPTCHA settings match what is shown on your Google’s ReCAPTCHA admin dashboard as shown in our guide here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/getting-started/setting-up-wp-job-manager/#recaptcha-settings
If it’s still not working after that, please, let me know if you see any errors or other details that might help us troubleshoot with you.

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] WebP error message “file is not an image”Thank you for that! Since you’ve ruled out your theme, and the image itself isn’t working right with your www.ads-software.com system, as you’re unable to edit it, then the next things to investigate are the image itself and checking in with your hosting set up. You can investigate the image by trying to upload another WebP image and see if it acts similarly. If you reach out to your host, I recommend sharing with them all the info you’ve shared in this thread and your other forum thread.
From everything you’ve shared, it does not look like the cause of the issue is the Regenerating Thumbnails plugin itself.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Job stats not very intuitiveThank you for taking the time to share what we can do to improve our stats! We appreciate it. I can see your point about adding a seperate spot for it.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Please add a salary option like “One Time”Thanks for letting us know you’d like a new field added to the plugin. I’ve let the team know.
In the meantime, you may find this tutorial for adding custom fields to a job submission helpful for displaying an option like “One Time Salary”: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/developer-reference/code-snippets/tutorial-adding-a-salary-field-for-jobs/
Do note though that we aren’t able to provide further customization for snippets like this.

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] WebP error message “file is not an image”That is quite odd. When I test a WebP image on my own example site, with no other plugins active and a default theme, I have success. This is the image I tested with: https://www.gstatic.com/webp/gallery/3.sm.webp. You can see how things went for me with that image here: https://d.pr/v/WjoafQ
This does indicate there’s something about your set up that is causing the issue. From the tests you’ve already done you have elimnated other plugins, leaving just the image file on your site, how your host is handling the file or your site set up, as the cause of the trouble. I do see in your screen recording, there do still look to be several active customizations on the site from default www.ads-software.com that I assume comes from your theme, Xstore:
(Image link: https://d.pr/i/eIBE6c )
From my tests it’s clear that the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin is working with WebP images, and from the information you’ve shared it does look there are changes made to your site that could cause conflicts resulting in the trouble you’re seeing. I would suggest reaching out to your theme developer as a next step. I see here in their guidance that they recommend Regenerate Thumbnails. If they are unable to help, then your next steps will be to try replacing the image file and reaching out to your host

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Recaptcha does not workThanks for that information!
Before the relaunch, with the old theme it was working
From that data, it sounds like there is likely a theme conflict as the cause here. You can test to see if that’s the cause by temporarily switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four and trying the reCAPTCHA again.
Let me know how it goes. You’re certainly also welcome to keep the reCAPTCHA snippet that is working for you and move forward that way.

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] WebP error message “file is not an image”Thanks for the link to the other forum post! I do see you’ve already done quite a bit of troubleshooting. Reviewing the forum post you linked this particular part does seem of interest:
after only leaving the regenerate thumbnail plugin active and running it, i got the same error message: “file is not an image
Could you share a screen recording of the process you’re using to regenerate thumbnails, as described here? We’ll want to see how the error is created when just the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin is active

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] Doesn’t work well with -scaled imagesThanks for reaching out, and I am sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with the plugin and scaled images.
Can you give us some more details and a few steps on what exactly happened? The more details you can share, like the exact size and type of image file you have trouble with, the better. I can then recreate the same on my test website and submit a detailed report to our developers to help fix the issue.
If you like, you can also submit the report directly to our developers here
https://github.com/Automattic/regenerate-thumbnails/issuesWhat you’re describing does sound similar to me, from what you’ve shared so far, to this issue: https://github.com/Automattic/regenerate-thumbnails/issues/102
I’d like to help. I have set up a demo site to test this. On my demo site I have turned off
Public student profiles Enable public student profiles that will be accessible to everyone
(Image link: https://d.pr/i/1ZHFnM )
I believe this is what you meant when you said you said:
It’s impossible to search for a student by name or surname unless “Display name publicly as: Name Surname” is set on the account edit screen.
Then I tested searching by surname:
(Image link: https://d.pr/i/eIyJIk )
As you can see, I had no trouble searching. Can you let me know if these are the same steps you’re following or if I did not understand the issue?
If these are the steps you are following, but you see something differently from me, then I recommend you give the Health Check tool a try to see what the cause could be. The Health Check is a tool that can be useful for debugging, though it requires an official default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This will allow you to check what plugins may be contributing to the difficulties you’re having searching.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] List and Grid View of Job ListingGood question! I can see how it would be nice to have both a list and grid view of the job listings.
is there a default technique for doing this
There isn’t a default technique for this. While it sounds like you may already be using them, here are the resources we can provide to help:
We aren’t able to further support the development of custom code or modifying a theme template.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Job description lenghtI’m glad you’re enjoying WP Job Manager. Almost anything is possible, depending on how much customization you’re willing to do. ?? WP Job Manager is intentionally lightweight, so it can be modified and extended in a variety of different ways.
Changing defaults like the description field mandatory length isn’t a built-in feature, but one that could be added through code. While we aren’t able to support the writing of custom code, we do have some resources that can help you to do it on your own:
