I’m looking for the same thing oxfire is asking about and I’m not sure that was answered in the thread. Can anyone point to a plugin that solves this problem, or is it time to give up and make headway for Tumblr?

Is a simple fix for this on the horizon? It’s stuff like this that makes me consider jumping to Tumblr.

that most recent comments.php posting is incomplete. i didn’t understand it myself. i found it here at themes.www.ads-software.com: https://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-columns/61/qwilm-03/

could this problem be corrected by installing a comments plug-in? if so, which one would you recommend?

how would this fix fit in? this is from the qwilm theme page itself, but since i don’t know anything about php i’m hesitant to experiment.

i just tried removing that parens and, zoinks, my blog disappeared. i’m going to try to tinker, but if anyone sees something fishy, let me know.

and i’ve tried all sorts of things from the admin pages to make sure that i hadn’t closed comments or anything. i don’t know if other folks have had similar problems with Qwilm, but my searches on the support forums, as well as the theme itself were fruitless.

nope, which is all the more frustrating. i’ve deactivated my plug-ins to no avail. what might’ve the host done that i could investigate?

could it be responding strangely to akismet?

it doesn’t. it’s peculiar to this one. i’d had no problem in the past. is there anything else it could be?
