Just to add – i have a code in functions which excludes child-products from parent-categories, but it doesnt seem to affect woobewoo-filter. Plugin still filters all products including children cats. Maybe I am missing some settings here. My version is 2.2.8

I am happy to help! To break up the idea.

Each filter generates an url addition like

/?wpf_min_price=29&wpf_max_price=1000&wpf_count=24&wpf_fbv=1&wpf_ebv=1&wpf_filter_color-ftr=black

That can be broken down into two important filters – price 29-100 and color=Black

And here is the most simple way to make the idea come true:

1. To Select filters to add add a new format of a filter called “Presaved filters”.
2. In that filter you just have as many presaved filters as one wants. Each one has following options:
   – Name (opportunity to name filter in a free text)
   
   – Format (free URL/filter URL)
   Free url – is just a link leading to whenever one want
   Filter url – person enters url as above and it gets recognized as filter paramets automatically and links it to existing attributes (later if “black” url slug will change to something else – it shoud ideally not be lost)
   
   – Show on frontend as and other fields
   These ones you can take from any of your existing filters

Hi Nick! Thanks a lot for following up my ticket. Yes you are very right – this behavior shouldnt work like that. This is because it was a very quick, hands-on fix just to eliminate the major problem of precense of empty categories in the source code. I was just hoping that my solution could highlight the problem and solution for your investigation and including into the plugin update. I was not pretending to create a perfect code as it would require a lot of testing. And you have a better knowledge of course.

May i ask if you are planning to address that issue into coming release?

Hope I made it clear that precense of names of all the categories in the code makes the SEO of the page extremely difficult.

It was not right on my page as we dont need empty paramaters (0 products) listed on the page’s source code. So basically the plugin excluded these parameters from front-end but still kepts them in source code.

We had to make a code modification in woo-product-filter/modules/woofilters/views/woofilters.php in order to exclude them from source code of the page. Our version of the plugin is 2.1.1

Any answer on this one? On my multisite, I cant add redirects on subdomains and manage them independently

Смотрите фишка в том, что нужно экспортировать продукты у которых Parentid = 0
Везде где не ноль – это вариации, а значит дубли.

Быть может конечно, если заморочититься есть возможность – предложить галочкой “Экспортировать вариации как отдельные продукты?”, тогда это бы могло подойти в таких ситациях как у вас было в магазине

Если на вариациях цены разные то все ясно. В этом и проблема. Цена на одной странице должна быть одинакова – оттого на вас яндекс и обозлился.

Но ваш случай – исключение из правил, поверьте. Возьмите к примеру магазин футболок – цена на размер M, L, XL не будет отличаться.

Или красок – их может быть 90 цветов в одном товаре, но цена почти всегда будет та же.

Антон, так а как это может нарушать правила маркета? Или перефразирую – где написано что если у товара 30 цветов или размеров – обязательно должны грузится все 30 товаров?

Вы представляете по что превратиться выдача маркета если у одного товара будет по 50 вариаций (разный размер, или цвет)?

Естественно сейчас в Маркет – один товар – одно предложение, даже если у него и есть 50 разных цветов.

Ваш же плагин из одного товара делает 50 товаров. Без обид, мое почтение к Вам как к разработчику, но я до сих пор не могу понять, почему у вашего плагина такая логика. Я почти уверен, что большинству кто юзает ваш плагин приходится эту “фичу” перепиливать.

Используйте другой плагин. Найдете в поиске. Там такого бреда нет
