If you don’t need it for any other pages you can simply select “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner, and uncheck the “Video Background” option to hide the metabox on all pages and posts.

To place a video in the section with the keyboard image, it looks like your container is going to be “#front-page-1”.

Because your home page is widgetized, you will have to achieve this through a shortcode if the metabox is not available.

In short, video background (or any other video background plugins or scripts for that matter) are not able to play on mobile devices (phones, tablets) due to constraints with mobile browsers.

Unfortunately, this is an issue with the mobile browsers themselves, not an issue with video background and other video background applications. Because on most devices (excluding a couple of android devices) videos MUST be played through their native player, video is disabled and resorts to the “fallback image” on mobile devices.

I responded to your email regarding the zoom factor, however, I’m going to post the solution here as well incase any one else needs the answer.

Video background adjusts the size of the video by the size of the container. If the container has a very tall height, the video will cover that entire area thus making the video appear huge.

Sorry for the late response.

Sometimes video background, or any other script for that matter, can conflict with other jQuery plugins or scripts.

In the next version I’ll be sure to remove any possible conflicts with other jQuery libraries to accommodate for this issue.
