Solved by allowing docx in the form in CF7

[file CV limit:2000000 filetypes:doc,pdf,docx]

Is validation supposed to occur in contact form 7? That’s what I am seeing. It would imply changing this plugin would make no difference.

Having the same issue.

The code expects application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document as the mime type but some docx files are being identified as application/zip on older servers and application/octet-stream on newer. It seems Google docs export will create files with this mime type – either by exporting or uploading.

Wordpress Admin Media does not have any issues with these files.

Since a single public IP address on our network is shared simultaneously with thousands of other users, this is making any Vodafone user appear as if they are a “bot” and causing them to be blocked automatically, regardless of whether you disconnect or reconnect.

Although this is about 5 years old I can see this being an issue.

If anyone knows of anything that can be done about this I would be most grateful!

I just had the same issue on iPhone 4s.

So far all problems are coming from phones using Vodafone but that’s just weird…

Hmm. I’ve now had an instance where HTTP_CACHE_CONTROL wasn’t empty but was still blocked. So not seeing a pattern apart from iPhone 6’s – although some are ok.

…Oh – and as the subject suggests they are using iPhone 6
