    Hey there,

Though I haven’t found the perfect solution, I did find a couple of things. I haven’t tested them yet but will soon.

I found a plugin called “VoucherPress” that will allow you create “coupons” and has the option to allow one coupon per member as well as entering your own keys. So you could set it that only one coupon code/key is delivered and set as expired, so the next person to claim a coupon won’t get the same code/key.

The only drawback is that it creates the coupon as a PDF file. So your users will have to verify the coupon claim through email and then get linked back to the site’s PDF file. The PDF files can be large and will be stored on your server, so after time it will eat up your space.

The only other option I’ve seen, and though it’s not done through your site/wordpress, it’s probably the better option so far.

You can create a Facebook “Fan Page” for your site and then add a WooBox.com Facebook APP that will allow automated game code key distribution. The free version of the APP allows 50 keys to be delivered per month. You can upgrade to the pay model to deliver unlimited keys per month.

If I can’t find a good delivery system to use on my site, I’ll probably use the Facebook method and pay for a months service to Woobox for the unlimited delivery, then downgrade back to the Free version when my codes have been distributed.

Good luck and if you find anything else that does this, let me know! ??

Ok, haven’t found out what’s causing this issue. When I use the default widget, I get one drop down in Firefox and Two in Internet Explorer.

When I make a text widget and use the shortcode [gtranslate] I get the same issue.

I do notice that in Internet Explorer, at the bottom of my site is a Google notice and when I translate a language in IE, I get an embedded Google window that can not scroll.

In Firefox I have no problems.

This plugin would be perfect if the entire world used only Firefox. However, 90% of the world still uses Internet Explorer. I don’t have the luxury of having enough visitors to demand them to only use Firefox.

    Please fix this soon!

Oh, I see how the plugin works. It only translates the text inside of the post. Things like the side widgets don’t get translated as well.

Is there a way to get it to translate the full page and not just the content of the post?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve installed the plugin and added my API. It works on posts and pages, but it seems that the buddypress and bbPress created “pages” don’t show the translate link or flags.

Does this plugin feature a widget? I’m sure that if there was a widget that carries over to each page it would solve this.

Excellent plugin, by the way ??

Thanks for the heads up isabel104. I deleted those pages and it’s running fine now ??

This happened to me as well and I’m rather displeased. I use a RocketTheme theme that runs the Gantry Framework and just installing the WP E-Commerce plugin and activating it caused this issue with all pages and posts, not allowing them to be read.

While the pages and posts still exist, the links to them come up blank.

I uninstalled the E-Commerce plugin and deleted it from my plugins but the issue remains where no posts or pages can be viewed.

I do have a backup of my site and template, but I want to know exactly what E-Commerce did to my theme and what I need to add from the backup to make it viewable again.

I’m having this issue as well. I’ve disabled all plugins and reinstalled the latest WP update and I still am not able to move widgets from the Available Widgets to any of the locations like sidebar, showcase, feature, etc.

Have no idea what the issue is.

Ok, they got back to me and asked me to edit the theme’s index.php file. That didn’t work, but it did get me thinking…

When I add [calendar] to the page, it does not show the calendar item itself, but it does show me “Add Events”.

I’ve got 3 events listed already so if the calendar was visible, I assume they would be there.

I’m not sure if all the others were able to see “Add Events” as they didn’t describe that they did. I’m just wondering if there is something else keeping the calendar from showing or if it is indeed having to add the code before </body> and </head>. I am assuming that it is, just having to find the correct place to add it is the issue.

Will post if I find out something.

I’ve sent in a request to the people that made my theme and asked if they can guide me to the correct files to place the code into.

The theme I use doesn’t have any of the </body> or </head> info in the header.php or footer.php. Might have something to do with the Gantry framework the theme runs off of.

Hoping they get back to me soon.

Thank you kindly. I’m sorry if my reply came of snarky, just that there are those of us who aren’t 100% versed in all aspects of web design/coding.

So when you ask me to search for something that I don’t know what to search for (as those posts didn’t describe the exact issue I was having) it’s kind of like giving me a fishing pole in the desert and asking me to catch a fish.

IT’s now working in IE. Now to search the rest of the threads to find why the calendar is not showing up on the page I added [calendar] to. Even though I removed the commas, it’s not showing up on the front end, but is in the wp-admin.

But I’ll use search for that. Thanks again ??

I’m sorry, but this hasn’t resolved my issue. I already edited those files previously as the calendar wouldn’t even show up in wp-admin before.

After I edited the .js the calendar became visible in wp-admin, however, the drop down “add/edit” event window would not load fully.

As I have recently found out, as described in my previous posts, the calendar LOADS in IE and Firefox. The only thing that doesn’t load in IE is the “Add/Edit Event” popup/dropdown/whatever kind of a file it is.

Once again, this is not a resolved issue as I had previously taken the steps you suggested and the error still remains.

    *Correction*

Firefox loads the entire calendar but Internet Explorer 8 doesn’t. This wouldn’t be a problem for me, but I’ve got a few people that wil be editing the calendar for me and I don’t want to force them to download a new browser just to do so.

Not getting any errors in the javascript console. Checked in 2 browsers and nothing came up for errors and still only gave me a partial add event window.

Yeah, one of the first things I did was change the old url to the new one. I’m going through the database and searching for anything with the old url and changing it to the new one.

Still running into the same error though. :/

ok, i activated it before you posted and, without thinking, activated the bridge at the same time to get the mysql errors.

On the old plugin by Jason Sanborn I did the same thing and there was a way to go into the mysql database and remove the plugin info from the database to start over, but I can not longer find what to remove.

Do you know what I need to remove the the mysql to start over?

The second I hit “activate bridge” the thought popped into my head.. “Oh no… forgot to activate users!”

    ??

Edit – The more I think about it, there wasn’t anything to remove from the MySQL but there was something to change the values so that it was no longer running the bridge
