A corrupted file on the filesystem? Like the file that holds the actual table? If that is the case why when I fix the corruption would it keep coming back?

Thanks for the quick response. You can take the server not being powerful enough off the list. I have a dedicated cluster of quad processor machines with tons of ram. It can handle the load no problem. There are several sites more active than this one and I rarely see a blip on resource usage.

The MySQL version being used is 5.0.32.

I am ok with reconfiguring WP SlimStat after uninstalling it as long as I do not lose any data that currently exists. Doesn’t an upgrade basically do this though?

Strange, never had to do that for a plugin before.

I think I was probably a couple version behind and I do not think I had updated it before (or after until yesterday) upgrading WP to 3.1.2
