To answer your question, Thin Out Revision has nothing to do with Publish meta box. And I guess it’s because you have no revision with your post. WordPress hides revision-related stuff until you update your posts. Please modify and save your posts to check this.

This plugin is using wp_cron even if you press the ‘Remove NOW’ button. When you press it, the plugin just schedule a task to delete revisions as an immediate wp_cron task. And it will take a while until the task is completed.

So please wait a while after you press the button. Regarding table prefixes, you can change it.

You can do it in TOR 1.4. Enter ‘0’ for ‘days’ and press the ‘Remove NOW’ button in the TOR settings page.
