Anyone have any good photo galery suggestions to use since Photopress is not 2.5 compatible?

Anyone know how to contact the author?? I tried leaving a comment on the blog but got no response. I would love to see this fixed.

When I upgraded to Wp-Polls 2.3beta two, none of my polls would render in posts.

So I downgraded to 2.21 and no they show up on the public side of things again.

All in WordPress 2.5. ??

I think found it. I needed to use get_comment_author not comment_author.

That worked, but it did to much.

My goal in all this is to extract the author name and use it to pull an image.

What I need to do is pull the authors name and put it in a variable so that I can put it in code like:
<img src="/images/<? echo $authorname; ?>.jpg">

Your code worked, but it modified an existing function and I don’t want to do that.

Does that help describe what I’m looking for?

This still haunts me in WordPress 2.3.1. It’s really an issue with the host though as I only had this issue after moving a client site from one host to another.
