Hi – I’m just starting with this plugin today. kbauman – you wrote “To use a gallery that you’ve created, put the following into the “page” or “post”: [gallery=id]”

*where* into the page or post do you mean? within the body? in the header? and also, I must have jumped out of order trying to upload some photos and an error occurred about a file not beeing 777 – so which file is that? the image or the page?

I’m stuck again with a related, but separate issue preventing me from completing this task here. Hope someone can help me at:

I”m not going to – it *is* my intention to allow WP to make the home page with it’s new functionality – I just thought that it was going to be displayed as /homepage.php because when I asked a different question in the forum here on how to do it, I was told to create homepage.php

I have a further question. can I make it so that https://www.mydomain.com is displayed even though it’s really https://www.mydomain.com/homepage.php when someone types only the url https://www.mydomain.com

? This is a rather important step for optimizing a site. If it doesn’t do that automatically, can rewrites be written to do this in the .htaccess (not that I know how)?

The style sheet is here: /public_html/wp-content/themes/tiga-06 (with the other main files)like footer, header, etc

I just realized that the “contact” page is fine. something is amiss with the about page. I will probably delete it and re-create it.

Hi – if you look at the about page, on my browser the links (blogroll) etc. on the right are *huge* – way disproportionate to the rest of the page. Hmm are you seeing it differently?

I just added html links for the two pages for now. It’s definitely a browser issue – I checked it out
