There is no way you could “convert” static HTML themes into WordPress theme.
Because the WordPress theme consists mainly from PHP + WordPress syntax.
Here we talking about making a new theme from the scratch using old design. It may be a bit easier then trying to modify existing theme.
Also there a tons of WordPress themes and I’m quite sure you can simply find the theme with similar design

phpMyadmin is the software for administration of MySQL. You can find it in your Cpanel.

But when you change template and stylesheet values you will need to use EXACT name (working theme name)

It may sound at first a bit complicated but works 100%

this may help

go to phpMyadmin

find the table wp_options

change the value of template and stylesheet to the theme you used before (or any working and installed theme)

Have a look at your theme settings
the chances are you may have a code like
add_filter( ‘jpeg_quality’, create_function( ”, ‘return 80;’ ) );
where 80 is the jpg quality setting

Even if it does not do any damage in my case I find it just useless. I believe in my case https://blogoguru.net/archives/627 url is short enough.

so from what you are saying rel=’shortlink’ just for user (as reminder?) and not search engine robot?
if that is the case I believe I can just get rid of rel=’shortlink’. Quite obvious if there will be such a need (short url) I could share page using /?p=post-id anyway
Honestly I do not think there is any need for rel=’shortlink’ to be on every page of my website

there are quite a lot from my point of view. But obviously I may be also wrong, that’s the reason I do not want to start stating such a plugins in open thread. If you say they are reviewed by the team I will leave it up to them, probably they know what they doing better then me.

look at the dates between my post and your reply. It is considerably much longer then 3 days. Such a time period it makes no sense even to reply. This is one of reasons I changed my rating to 1 star and even removed positive review of your plugin from my website. IF you have a look around even free plugin authors give much faster response.
