i think its More Tag/ Excerpt. it also dependents on your theme, how your theme displays post content on your homepage.

feature of WordPress where you can control whether to display full post on home page or just some content of post then link to read full article. (see Continue Reading link below your latest post).You can easily remove this by editing your post and removing

so its bug in your comments.php file or some issue with that page, can you check from your wordpress admin panel wether that post/page has any post_id or not ??

1) Upgrade your wordpress version if your are using older wordpress version (latest is 2.6.3)
2) Check your theme files for possible malicious php code or completely change your theme or install new theme

If Veryplaintext support widgets then you can add categories from admin panel->design->widgets

do not show any links you wont see any thing in your incomming link section.
incoming links may or may not show all links,it should not bother you much.
