i think its More Tag/ Excerpt. it also dependents on your theme, how your theme displays post content on your homepage.
one more thing did you checked single post page ?? does it displays full post or just few links ???

Did you tried force rebuilt XML sitemap option after deleting your child category.?

You posts are not truncated is because of read more tag within your post a
feature of WordPress where you can control whether to display full post on home page or just some content of post then link to read full article. (see Continue Reading link below your latest post).

You can easily remove this by editing your post and removing <!-- more --> tag

so its bug in your comments.php file or some issue with that page, can you check from your wordpress admin panel wether that post/page has any post_id or not ??

hmm… some thing like this happened with me in past, so only i am using firefox 2.X.X.X for my blog.

i would suggest to use windows live writer for composing post. its indeed best desktop blogging tools.

Are you talking about showing previous page and next page on pages or posts???? Do not confuse with pages and posts

To show previous and next posts on single post page you have to use https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags/previous_post_link and https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags/next_post_link

did you changed all internal links/image links point to your root domain?? i suppose you have missed this thats why its still pointing to your older image directory.

Man your blog is hacked and this is a clear case of spam injection.

1) Upgrade your wordpress version if your are using older wordpress version (latest is 2.6.3)
2) Check your theme files for possible malicious php code or completely change your theme or install new theme
3) change your password

From your question it look ‘Veryplaintext’ theme has built in blogroll section. You need to edit theme files to remove blogroll and remove header text.

If Veryplaintext support widgets then you can add categories from admin panel->design->widgets

(https://blogsearch.google.com/)

do not show any links you wont see any thing in your incomming link section.

incoming links may or may not show all links,it should not bother you much.
