I first tried to change the css to auto as Kandence Themes suggested but for some reason that messed up the styling when viewing the site on my desktop.
The first suggestion with adding the @media that kevin suggested worked perfectly though!
Thank you so much both for the fast and accurate help, problem solved!

In reply to: [Pinnacle] change link colorSo, I realized I could just mark the text in the page and change the color from there in the text editor. No css needed. It was just a too simple solution ?? Problem solved! Thank you for the really fast reply though! This support forum really is the best.

In reply to: [Pinnacle] style navigation dropdown menuThank you! That removed the shadow and now the styling of the dropdown menu is just as I wanted it.
With the position of the dropwdown menu I just added padding on the left. This might be a problem though if I have a long navigation menu and different dropdown menus since they all will be displayed on the same spot. I think my simple solution will work for now though but if anyone has a solution that would automatically center the dropdown menu right beneath the navigation menu topic I’d be glad.
Thank you all for your great help!

In reply to: [Pinnacle] style navigation dropdown menuGreat, thanks! That did help a lot.
The only problem I’m having now is that the dropdown menu is displayed on the far left and I’d like it to go straight underneath the menu topic. How do I do this when I have 2 different dropdown menus?
If possible I’d also like to remove the shadow that is still displayed around the dropdown menu.
Thanks again! I’d really be lost without this great support forum.

In reply to: [Pinnacle] style navigation dropdown menuAh sorry, of course. here it is: https://www.blomstrande.com
I’d like to push the dropdown menu up a bit so that it is displayed in the white area (now it shows on top ot the slide show). And then I’d like to style the dropdown menu and remove the grey block so the menu items are displayed only as a black text on the white background.
Would that be possible? ??

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Nav menu – horizontal dropdown menuThank you so much! The code worked like a charm and the dropdown menu is now horizontal.
I will try to do some changes to the code to have the dropdown menu moved. Could you help me with a code that would make the dropdown menu fixed so that it could be layered on top of the header image? Because of the header height it is now pushed down to the left of the page…
Also, is it possible to style the drop down menu items so that they aren’t displayed as grey blocks? I would if possible like to have them styled the same way as the main navigation menu.
Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Problem with site title and top barOh, no worries! I’ll just have to rethink that design a bit. But thank you so much for your help, I got all my questions answered!

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Problem with site title and top barNope, not there. “Site header” is on top of the list among my theme option tabs.
The version I’m using is the 1.3.5 and as far as I can see there are now newer updates. Could the “main settings” be missing because I’m using the free version of the Pinnacle theme?

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Problem with site title and top barThat’s weird… When I go Appearance > Theme Options I don’t have a page called “Main settings”. I can’t seem to find the “site tagline” under “logo options”, “site header” or any of the other tabs either.

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Problem with site title and top barAh, thanks, two problems solved in the blink of an eye! And I’ll just have to make do with the site title for now.
The problem I was having with the slogan is that I would like it to appear right beneath the site title (I haven’t uploaded a logo so the site is just using the site title) like a “subtititle”. But for some reason it doesn’t show on any of my pages. I could of course just upload a logo with both the site title and the slogan but I’ll call that plan b. ??
