I have this install on our in-house servers so I have access to the server directly not through a cpanel and such . . . I’ll do some digging . . .

So – if I have a site already configured – how do I change from fastcgi to regular cgi? I’ve reinstalled PHP using just CGI . . . and of course my site doesn’t come up

What should the handler mapping be?

basically it’s a SQL error that says I cannot drop the table wp_adauthint because it does not exist . . . Is there an update?

Well – I recreated the web.config – and lo&behold – that did it. Thanks for pointing me back to the obvious . . .

lol – well thanks so much Unix Girl . . . I’ve been all through the web.config and it worked just fine before I upgraded. I’ll keep digging . . .

re: fyi – I can’t get to the admin interface of any of the subdirectory sites – and I am using a web.config . . .
Not deleted from the upgrade . . .

I find it interesting that the production version holds the radio button selection on the permalinks custom option, but the new upgraded version does not . . .

However, in our production version we have custom set (%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/)

in the test version if I try to save the custom version as above, it immediately defaults to Month & Name (3rd one down)

Interestingly enough – if I select the first option (/?cat=1) all the links appear to work, however, the subdirs still do not. (/subdir-name)

ReSaved them – twice.

BTW – this is a Windows 2008 Server using SQL 2008

Yes – those are the AD fields we have populated.

I did change my password in the AD this afternoon – and I can still authenticate to WP using the new credentials. How do I change the WP password? I can’t find that field anywhere.

I changed my email address from [email protected] to [email protected] (confirmed via email link and verified) and as soon as I logged in again it reset back to [email protected].

Now – I don’t have bind information/credentials in – are those mandatory for the fields to populate?

Those boxes are checked and I have created a new user and logged in as myself after the fact.

However, the first name, last name box remain empty and the email addreess does not update to reflect the email address from the AD.

Any other thoughts as to what I might be missing??
