In reply to: Active Directory Integration and user metaJust a thought – does the php file have to be edited manually? I doesn’t seem to match what I have set in the GUI

In reply to: Undefined property: WP_User::Multisite is working and everything seems to be fine. While I was trouble-shooting the subdir/wp-admin/login process I turned on define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); in the wp-config.php.
So the error shows up in the User list in Network Admin

In reply to: Problems with new sites – cannot access wp-adminno – the main site is working fine but I’m unable to get into the sub-directory site admin /its/wp-admin folder
I can get into my domain.tld/wp-admin folder just fine.
I get the:
404 – File or directory not found.

In reply to: Invalid Username when changing from single to multi-siteThanks very much for that link – I did do as the article described and I managed to get everything necessary (I think) for the second user I created. The original user still can’t log in.
Geesh . .

In reply to: Invalid Username when changing from single to multi-siteOK – I’m not getting the “network admin” at the top right — and looking at the server I don’t specifically see a “network” table although the installation says it’s there.
Do you happen to know the exact name of the table ? I’d like to delete the right one and redo.
thanks again

In reply to: Invalid Username when changing from single to multi-siteYep – tables are all there. I’ve tried 3 separate browsers (IE, Firefox and Safari) and still no go. How do I make the new user a super-admin? That is not an option in my drop-down list of roles

In reply to: Invalid Username when changing from single to multi-siteOk – I did go through the network setup screen. Followed all the instructions that were there – when I go back into that network option I get “Warning: An existing WordPress network was detected.” at the top of the screen.

In reply to: Invalid Username when changing from single to multi-siteOk – it would seem that I only have the ability to add plug-ins with the original username. The second admin account does not have the plug-in menu item.
