Thanks for your reply, and I really appreciate your input.

We have resolved this by disabling the rename login feature. I understand you don’t recommend this, but it also creates a heavy support load from our clients so we have decided to try this for a while.

I’ll explain the steps we are taking to get this error a little further.

1. We login to our sites via ManageWP.
2. Our clients log into their sites via yoursite.com/secretword

With the rename login page feature enabled we are seeing the not available error when attempting to access any WP admin pages.

I would estimate 1 in 20 sites are having this issue, but it’s difficult to put an exact figure on it.

We are considering turning of the login page feature on all our sites, as it causes a secondary issue with one of our highest support requests when people forget to use the yoursite.com/secretword link.

How much of an impact on security would this have in your opinion? We adhere to all the usual security practises with keeping the sites up to date, brute force protection etc.

I just tested this on a standard WP page, it does display the calendar at the top of the page. Is it possible to insert the shortcode between content?

some more content

Further testing.

Tried disabling iThemes Security which is used to hide the /wp-admin and WordFence.

Both sites are using post name permalink setting.

Source website is on DesktopServer, Target is on live server.

I activated the plugin, imported my json file of standard settings and the media library is blank.

When I turn off all options using “uninstall options” the media library is fine. Do you know which option is stopping the media library to work?

The plugins causing the issues were Snapshots and Dashboard from WPMU Dev.

Issue resolved. There was a conflict caused by another plugin.
