Same here! All of a sudden, it just stopped working like it should. I think it happened yesterday or today.

I’m honestly not sure what it was, but once I exchanged all the files except wp-content for fresh ones via FTP, removed the .hold and -old from my plugin folder and theme, respectively, everything began working again. ??

Okay, well, I tried all of the above, and now I can’t access anything. Neither my site nor the wp-admin login screen will load now.

I’m probably going to sound stupid for asking this, but if I do change to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming the folder of my current theme, will I be able to change it back? And if so, how do I do that? Do I just remove the “-old” once I’m able to access my dashboard the same way I reactivate the plugins folder via FTP?

And in terms of re-uploading all files and folders from a fresh download of WordPress, is that a download of wp 3.4?

I’m just worried about messing up my site!
