The workaround of installing 1.2.22, then upgrading to 1.2.25 doesn’t always work. We verified on several installs over a week ago and found it works on less than half of our installs. This issue should not be marked resolved.

The code you’re looking for is in supernova/lib/functions/supernova-hooks.php in the Footer Navigation section.

We’re trying to figure out an easy way to modify it in a child theme. For now, we copy the entire theme to a separate folder (e.g., supernova-copy) and edit the supernova-hooks.php file there.

See this support thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/comment-hardcode-makes-jetpack-comments-not-work?replies=2) that includes an article on how to edit the comments.php file in the theme. Do it in a child theme.

+1 confirming hide backend still breaks front-end ajax on version 4.05. This is a bug, not a feature that was fixed back in version 3.0.10. It affects WooCommerce, numerous Event calendars and hundreds of plugins in the www.ads-software.com repository based on a simple search of “ajax”

Please resolve quickly even if it means reverting to the htaccess method used in 3.6.6 temporarily.

+1 on sort…this feature has little value without it. Categorization would be great too.

It was originally intended for use with the Confit theme. See this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/confit-theme-no-food-menus-option?replies=20. But, it could be used with other themes that add support. The code for the custom post type is in the nova.php file at https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/jetpack/trunk/modules/custom-post-types.

FWIW, the same thing was done with the comics custom post type for the Panel theme (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/panel) which has made its way to the www.ads-software.com theme directory. The testimonial custom post type is associated with the Stay theme (https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/stay/) available for download at WordPress.com.

Sticky navigation needs to be turned off for the responsive menubar to work in v1.4.0. We’ve marked as resolved but hope Sayed will fix this in a future version.

I think a sticky menu would be too much for the clean aesthetic of Decode, but you might want to consider a back to top arrow like that used by Supernova …whenever you get around to it.

Using your feed as an example, in firefox, safari, chrome and internet explorer browser and source, the title of your feed is “Beyond The CodeBeyond The Code” instead of “Beyond The Code”. To make sure it wasn’t just my laptop, I pulled it into Feedly and a couple of other readers and checked it on my S4 and Tab3.
