My site set up HTTP to HTTPS redirect via Nginx. Before installing UpdraftPlus I already set up HTTPS. In WordPress, I can see this site uses HTTPS (Settings>General). After I setup HTTPS for sites, I install UpdraftPlus plugin.

Yesterday when I try to restore the site UpdraftPlus showed this is a backup of the HTTP version, but the site uses HTTPS. So I’m afraid that it will make any internal link error.

Furthermore, if I run the Updraft Plus backup by clicking on the “Backup” button, then it backed up the HTTPS version. But the same site when Updraft run scheduled backup uses HTTP version (Same site schedule backup uses HTTP, but manual backup uses HTTPS).

Is there any way to debug this issue?

Hi,

I found the exact reason this plugin is deleting some of the uploaded images.

If I uploaded an image eg: my.png and deleted and later if I re-uploaded the same image with exact same name eg: my.png, this plugin identifies that image as a deleted.

That is why my uploaded images were deleted by this plugin.

If I manually empty the “Media Library Trash“, there is no such issue. I believe this plugin deletes the same name containing images in Media Library trash as well as undelete images in Media Library.

I use Google instant index plugin only for a single site, but my other sites are also affected. So I guess it is not only the Instant index plugin issue.

Ops. Sorry @webzunft. Yes it fixed my issue. Sorry I forgot to reply.

I have disabled right click from WP copy protection plugin. You can access the site source code via web browser settings page. If you could please check it in that way.

I used that plugin to prevent scrapings my posts.
