Solution: After checking a lot of things I finally figured out that it was the settings on my ethernet-port on my computer that was causing the error.

I’m using a Mac and when I changed the System Preferences > Network > Advanced… > Hardware > Configure to Automatic everything works fine again. So it wasn’t even a WordPress problem to begin with.

Update: I tried to change the password for a user on one of my WordPress-setups and I get the same result I get when I try to change a post/page ie. a ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE (but most of the times the page is just white.)

I have also tried to make an error report, but it turns up blank.

It seems like it’s the server that is too impatient to wait for WP to finish up.

Yes, as I wrote in my first post, I’ve tried to deactivate ALL plugins, switched to different themes, but the problem still remain with or without plugins activated or not.

Ok, a clean reinstallation (delete everything database included) and NOT install the Swedish-version is the way to go. So I guess this is resolved… sort of.

I did a fresh installation of WordPress and everything worked fine until I changed the language to Swedish and that’s when it goes wrong. So something is not quite working as it’s intended to with the swedish localization.

So my best bet is to delete everything and make a new fresh installation of the whole thing?

Did this not happen to anyone during the beta-stages at all? Did it work for everyone else without any plugin-problems? I’m confused that it is such a big difference between 3.7 and 3.8 that all plugins stopped working.

Ok, reverted to 2.2.2 and everything works again, so it’s definitely a 2.2.3 bug.

The logo (or picture if you will) appears, but not at top. It’s right where the menu are and thus covers it. Did what’s suggested here. However, couldn’t find any /* Begin Header */ and /* End Header */. So I tried different places in both the style.css and the header.php for the codes respetively.

Yes, that happened to me with the 6.6-beta version. I downgraded to 6.5.2.1 and the navigation works again. However, that version is not compatible with Wordpres 2.8. ??

Ok, so I painstakingly went through all of my plugins, one by one, and tried to see if anything happened and found that it is the “Events Calendar v.6.6-beta” that creates this problem. At least for me. When deactivated everything works fine. So I reinstalled version 6.5.2.1 instead and it works fine again.

If all you that has the same problem use the same plugin too, then we know where the problem is.

I got the exact same problem when I updated to 2.8.2 and it turned out, for me, to be the image-file I wanted to upload being to big. Apparently it can’t handle large images anymore. Try making the file smaller and then upload it again.

Spent lots of time to reinstall and do all kinds of tricks and it turned out that the image was too large…

It would be nice if there was an option in settings for User-Photo to define what picture should be used as the default photo (with an upload-function as well). Or if a default photo should be used at all even.
