Same problem only on the live site, not the back end. Upon flushing server cache the appropriate icons sometimes reappear. I do have a font origin conflict from my browser inspector (Chrome):
Font from origin ‘https://climatediscovery.org’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://www.climatediscovery.org’ is therefore not allowed access.
Exactly what do I tell my host to fix? WordPress General settings are https://climatediscovery.org
The way (very likely) this happened was that I added my https certificate “after” I began working on this new site. In other words, when I began this new site development, the url was http, now after adding the security certificate the url is https and I have this cross-origin font conflict.
