  • I have the same situation, the first two of three show the featured image, as they should.
The third is pulling of a header graphic. Strange.

I am still waiting for this plugin to arrive. You need to email it in zip format, or send me a download link. Please look up my order via my email address and send me what i paid for.

Upset that I have not heard a word from you.

The raw php file does NOT come thru my mail server.

    PLEASE RESPOND ASAP.

Ok, now i know it’s not me. Yes, get to that tablet support asap, and many thanks. Yes, phone display is perfect. Thanks again for your plugin. Any kind of ETA on the tablet support? or do you know of anything i could use in the meantime to support tablets that plays well with your plugin?

Hi there, I did exactly what Citynode above said. I played with different sizes for the images (for quite some time) under Settings/Media/Image sizes. Then used the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.

    That did it for me.

yes, same exact problem and i didn’t have it before 3.5.

    for instance
    https://www.artforthesoulofit.com/product/opera-roses/

when you click on the image, then it opens up and looks fine. but the single image on this page
    and the catalog page
    https://www.artforthesoulofit.com/ART/available-art/still-lifes/

are blurry. Sheesh, i have an original fine art site, so it’s critical that the images are clear.

It seems that wordpress is optimizing them somehow and lowering their overall resolution…could that be happening and is there a way to make it upload res at 100%?

    Thanks
    Joanie

    just did, thanks!

also with long screens/posts…sure would be awesome if i didn’t have to scroll back up to top to add media, or link. something like a floating editor bar would be ideal.

i have the same problem. i wrote one long post, now everytime I go to write a new post the editor screen is miles long. and each time i take the corner and drag it up, i’ve done this dozens of times, yet with every new post it opens up a blank page over 18 inches long. seriously! is there an easy fast way to make this snap back to a few inches? thanks.

A few more things I’m finding on security…

    FROM
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Hardening_WordPress

    Securing wp-config.php

You can move the wp-config.php file to the directory above your WordPress install. This means for a site installed in the root of your webspace, you can store wp-config.php outside the web-root folder. Note that wp-config.php can be stored ONE directory level above the WordPress (where wp-includes resides) installation.

**I tried moving the wp-config.php and it broke stuff. I moved it to one level above web-root. So what is the other trick to making this work? And is this considered a good move?

Thanks again and always, for the help.

Continued…let me add, the database is fine. There are no hidden admin users. FTP was not breached. Only my wp sites.

I rec’d notice from web client that site was hacked (again, and again for third time.)

Each time, I went in and found the offending page, uploaded a fresh one which immediately restored the site. Checked all pages just in case.

Then changed username AND password once again.

Double checked the wp-security-scan. Have htaccess in wp-admin. Username is never “admin.”

I’ve read everything i can find on wp forum about hardening security, but I’m really stumped this time.

I have several plugins, all updated. Don’t know where the hole is?

I have had 3 sites hacked THREE times. I have wp-security scan, all in one seo, all plugins updated. Built all three sites in 2.8.4, and now have web clients breathing down my neck telling me NOT use wp. Don’t want to give up that easily.

I have done extensive scanning on my laptop to make sure it didn’t have a keylogger or anything pernicious running, hours of testing came back negative.

Checked with host, they have everything going fine.

I am using very encrypted passwords….

    Somebody please HELP HELP HELP!

    Sniper-Baghdad……

I know how to restore the sites, search find for code in index page, which is usually buried on some back page….

    I’m desperate!

Pls somebody help and take this seriously!!!!!! 2.8.4 is NOT secure in my estimation.

oh yeah, running wp 2.8, .htaccess says this
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    permanlinks set to custom
    /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

    cat and tags left blank

have installed and deactivated a couple diff plugins to rewrite urls, but all are deactivated at moment.

mod_rewrite and allow override are enabled on apache server. no other blocking.

so how do i get rid of the OLD default permalinks and force new ones to appear.

thanks again, please someone come to my aid!! be my hero!
