In reply to: Comments box doesn’t display in 2017Kjodle,
Thanks so much for your response. THE MYSTERY DEEPENS.
I emptied my cache on the browser, but did not get the same results as you did.
so I tried this: instead of placing in the url window sacreddemocracy.org, I put that in plus the datesstamp of the permalink and the post number, 73, and BONGO! I got it.Unfortunately, this is the case on all three browsers I test on, Explorer, FireFox, and Google, which is the one I edit WordPress on.
So why you were able to have all the information come through is a mystery to me.
Any ideas?

In reply to: Not a Class ActI was making other inputs on this wordpress blog and they were coming through so I didn’t think I needed to clear cache. But I just cleared cache and the above code is working. The CSS was in my child theme style sheet.
Thanks Michael.

In reply to: Page Template Sidebar not showingThanks for the response, alchymyth.
Yes, I am using a Twenty Fourteen child theme.
I tired publishing the page as under construction so I could give you a link, but although it is marked as published in the page editor, it does not show up in the horizontal menu. But here is a link to the site.
Integral VisioneersBesides missing the side bar, the edit link at the bottom of the page is not at the bottom of the page, but a couple lines up from the bottom in the text of the page. And there is about 10 inches of blank space below the comment box. So there are multiple problems with my effort at creating a page template.

In reply to: Two sets of margins for a postWouldn’t it just involve adding some php snippets to one of the wp_ files?

In reply to: Two sets of margins for a postOk. Can you get me pointed in the right direction for a theme modification?

In reply to: Two sets of margins for a postI have several paragraphs in my post. Now I want to add a couple of divs, one floating left and one floating right to divide some content into two categories side by side. Then I want to go back to the regular margins to continue the post.

In reply to: light blue background on image insertI cleared my browser cache and refreshed the screen. Still seeing blue.

In reply to: light blue background on image insertThanks for the suggestion. But I went ahead and gave it the same background color as #page, #FFFFF8; and it still comes out a light blue. Maybe it’s in my image capture software, ScreenHunter.

In reply to: Posts not following each other on same page.Yes, Front Page: “Home”
Post Page: “Blog Page” which takes you to the Welcome post.I just set this post page. The post page wasn’t selected, because it just listed the menu items. I didn’t think it would take it to the Welcome post, but it does. But the Test post is not underneath it, but I guess it shouldn’t be since it is more recent.
The Blog Page menu item takes you to the Welcome post whether the post page is set or not.
Is this confusing?
