These are the steps I take:

I tried /wp-admin directly and it resulted in ‘page not found’. Seems okay.

I tried /new-slug and it shows login page. Seems okay. Logging in also works (and I used ‘remember me’ option). Then I go, after some browsing in the admin of WP, again to /new-slug (as I would also do when I re-open my browser). I expect it will sign-in automatically (and go to the dashboard WP) because I did not logged-out. This does not happen. I see the login page and I have to re-login again.

I have the same issue. I also deactivated Akismet, but without succes. There must be something wrong with Contact Form 7 plugin.

Agree with igdesigngroup. I receive the same error.

I use a SMTP plugin: thus host unrelated issue. Must be the Contact Form 7 plugin.

I’m happy to know that I’m not alone with this issue. I also tried to change a thing, namely the name of the page inside the theme directory (and in WP). That is, page-hard-work.php to page-hardwork.php (and in WP to make sure the page connects with the file) and then it did work… of course I don’t like this solution thus I use an older version of the plugin.

24hr later the website is still working – with v9.2.1. So I’m pretty sure that it must be this plugin… Or it must be one of the related plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields or MoreTypes, maybe they changed something too?

Nevertheless, Custom Post Type Permalinks v9.2.1 does work and the new one not.

I did the same with another wp website, v3.6. There the problem did not happen.

I decided to deactivate all plugins and re-activated them once more. Now, the problem does not appear any more. I don’t know why this happend.

Bytheway, other pages are working. I guess I found a bug in WordPress or in an unidentified plugin…

When the page name contains ‘-‘ then it does not work, when I remove that character it does work. Can someone else test this?

Thus, create a page called page-name-name.php and try to access it via /name-name/ (this does not work for me). Then rename the file and leave out the last ‘-‘, thus page-namename.php. And try again.

@lahiru OK. Fact is that both don’t work. I hope Flavio Martins has time to fix this bug… is he “still in the house”?

@llnaiman: Those plugins look exactly the same. This does not feel okay. Did one of those plugins copied code from one another??

As both don’t work, I stick with Tweetily but an update is inescapable.

With a older version of the plugin I were able to authorize the plugin. However, tweeting was not possible. After that, I updated to latest version again. Still receiving the error: Tweet 0 : Oh no! Something went wrong. Please try again.

A more detailed error would be nice. Remember, other plugin on my site can tweet. So it must be tweetily related.

It’s getting worse.

I de-activated and re-activated the plugin. I tried the tweet-button without succes – “Tweet 0 : Oh no! [..]”

I de-authorized and re-authorized the plugin. The page becomes white. Within the Twitter config I see that the plugin is authorized, refreshing or going back to the plugin config does not proof the authorization… it asks me to authorize the plugin again. ;-s

So, now I am unable to “authorize” the plugin while Twitter says “Win the Customer from Win The Customer, LLC” is authorized.
