@yoast and others: Do you have suggestions for me?

I’ve deactivated all plugins and only re-activated WP SEO to check if the sitemaps work. The answer is no.

Use this plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress. Also from Yoast.

Two suggestions:

1) What happens when you deactivate the plugin? What’s in your theme template?

2) Check the ‘Titles & Metas’ section when the plugin is active.

What do you mean with strange and default settings?

Can you post it here as text or image?

I’m using WordPress on Windows. I receive a 404 error message, also in Webmaster Tools.

The login form has an identifier (loginform). Use this identifier in your css file to change the look.

background-color: red;
}
#loginform input {
width: 500px;
}

Hope you get the idea.

Try your ip address: x.x.x.x/wp-admin or x.x.x.x/wp-admin

Alternative, browser your database and search for the settings in the data (if you have access to the database).

I also get this message when I what to upgrade a plugin.

“Could not remove the old plugin”

I use windows webserver 2003, IIS, with PHP. WordPress version is 2.7.

I have read a lot of possible solutions, non of them did work.

How can I find more detail about the problem? Where can I find log files? And things about temp directories and permissions?
