In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error MessageOk, it is a Contact Form 7 Issue. If I downgrade Contact Form 7, the form sends again. Now I have to figure out how to downgrade without losing all my data.
Thanks for the explanation.

In reply to: [Membership 2] Members Only Level now VisitorsOk, before we get started on this…. couple of points.
Like I said, we just updated plugins as normal and did not follow the instructions as you have provided above. So, maybe my concern is that there was no documentation to follow. So, having said that,
Upgrading from Protected ContentUpgrading to M2 from Protected Content is the simplest option. M2 will show in your admin as an available update for Protected Content, which means it will quietly replace Protected Content when the upgrade is complete.
Congrats! You’re done! And, we have a broken website
Option 2:
Upgrading from a Premium Version of Membership:
Upgrading from MembershipImportant Note: You must upgrade from your WPMU DEV Dashboard, rather than via FTP or Plugins > Add New > Upload in order to import your Membership settings to M2.
1: Make sure the latest version of the WPMU DEV Dashboard is installed.
2: Make sure latest version of the old Membership plugin is installed (3.5.3.3).
3: You’ll see a button to unlock the update under Membership2 > Settings and/or WPMU DEV > Updates.
4: If you don’t, you can click the link in your WPMU DEV Dashboard to force it to check for updates and repeat step 3.Well, this is interesting. If I try to follow these instructions, I am not given the option to upgrade to Membership2, only Membership 2 Pro. Membership 2 Pro adds a whole bunch of extra stuff we don’t need. So we don’t want the Pro Version. We just want the protected content and we want our current subscribers to remain as subscribers and not be converted to visitors as Option 1 performed.
So, what are the procedures to install Membership2 and import the current settings. Once we have completed this step, then I let you know if I have problems.
I really likek WPMU DEV, but I’m not sure this plugin is ready for prime time. For the first time, I’m seeing more ratings of ‘1’ vs ‘5’.
Please help by providing clear instructions on how to migrate from a great premium product to a standard product.
Thanks.Hi Paul,
Followed directions to the ‘T’. Test message was received successfully.
Now, however, when I send a regular email via Outlook to my email address on mydomain.com, the Simple Firewall Plugin responds:
From: Affecteddomain :: WordPress Simple Firewall [[email protected]] on
behalf of AffectedDomain :: WordPress Simple Firewall [[email protected]] ****
To: [email protected] ****WordPress Simple Firewall has blocked a page visit to your site. Log details for this visitor are below: – IP Address: 23.229.205.102 – Firewall Block Response: Visitor connection was killed with wp_die() and a message. You can look up the offending IP Address here: https://ip-lookup.net/?ip=23.229.205.102
The View Audit Trail reports:
Same error message as originally reported:
There was an attempt to send an email using the “wp_mail” function. It was sent to “[email protected]” with the subject “Firewall Block Email Alert: https://www.affecteddomain.com”.So now what? Any suggestions?

In reply to: Media Library Link MissingI have the same problem. The Media Link from the WordPress Admin menu is missing. Since I am the site admin, I thought maybe it was my permissions, so I created a new admin user. Logged out from current login and logged back in as the new admin. Same problem, the Link is not there.
The actual library is still present and I can still upload new media, but just have a general concern as to why the Media Link disappeared from the Dashboard Admin menu. Tried re-installing 4.2.2 and it did not resolve the issue.
Other than using another plugin to manually set permissions, how do I correct this.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [IQ Testimonials] Warning: getimagesizeI am having the same issue and the image isn’t showing. How do I load image?
Where are you making this change?
Did you ever figure this out? I see that it has been a month and no one from the plugin has bothered t respond. Makes you wonder how well supported this plugin is….

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Address with dot in address line invalidI changed “email” back to the default “your-email”. Same issue, email address invalid.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Address with dot in address line invalidI guess this just isn’t my lucky day. No errors or conflicts are reported in Firebug.
Using the Chrome developers tools, I do see errors, but those errors are no different from other sites where CF7 is working correctly.
I’m perplexed.
I have reactivated the origninal theme so the overall site works until I get this resolved. Since it doesn’t matter whether I have a default theme activated or not.
ALL Plugins have still been deactivated and I have removed FB from the site.
What do you suggest next?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Address with dot in address line invalidThanks, I really appreciate you helping me with this.
At first, I thought it was the javascript from facebook that I did not eliminate when I had to start using iFrame. FB would only allow the likebox at 292px which took over 25% of my Theme content area.
So, I eliminated the orphan javascript. Let all plugins deactivated, and changed themes.Still won’t accept any email addresses. I switched to Twenty Eleven 1.5. WP 3.52. They only other javascript is Google Analytics.
Thank you ever so much for your help.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Email Address with dot in address line invalidIt seems to be inconsistent across websites. On some, it works, on others, it doesn’t. However on https://www.pbaofyorkcounty.com/contact-us/ it does not even with all of the plugins turned off except Contact Form 7 and Really Simple CAPTCHA. Same plugins installed as on other sites.
Uninstalled Contact Form 7 and deleted files. Reinstalled Contact Form 7 … and same thing.I hate the thoughts of turning to another contact form when I have been using this plugin for a long time.
Thanks
