    Hi,

Sorry to talk to you about this subject again.

    This is for your info.

I installed your plugin on another website, also protected by Sucuri.

I was surprised to discover that Sucuri still flags the same two files as “malware warnings” with the same message.

And there is an invitation to “Submit a Malware Removal Request”.

But, on our side, if we go to the control panel of our Sucuri account there is an option to “allow the path” of the files.

On the next server side scan of Sucuri, the warnings will be cleared.

    Thank you,

    Robert

    Hi,

I can now confirm (from my part) that “wp-content/plugins/backuply/backup_ins.php” and “wp-content/plugins/backuply/lib/ftp.php” are now whitelisted on Sucuri Side.

The problem is solved on my website and I’ve installed the backuply plugin on another website (also protected with Sucuri) and no problem in sight, or alert from Sucuri.

It was a false alert from Sucuri and they adjusted their system.

A good new for everybody using your plugin and Sucuri at the same time.

    Thank you !

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

Yes, as you said, a “download button more interactive” may help.

I think it may prevent some confusion when we expect a certain behavior from the browser.

    Thank you !

    Hi,

    My backup was 845 MB.

For you info, recently I downloaded a hugh 25GB backup made with cPanel, with the same browser, on another website.

    And…

I installed the Backuply plugin on another website, the backup was around 50MB, and the button worked.

There is one thing I realized : the button was (in fact) working on both websites (845MB and 50MB backup), but I didn’t have any cue it was working.

When we click the download button, we don’t see a sign in the browser that the file is downloading.

It’s only at the end of the download that we have a sign. At least, with my browser.

The fact is we can easily press the download button, again and again, thinking that nothing is happening because we don’t have any cue on the browser side.

But if I download, with the same browser, a backup made with cPanel (or another backup plugin I’ve tried), the browser is telling me right away, the “work in progress download”.

I don’t know if you can do something about this.

At the present, I find it easier to download the backup with FileZilla because I can see the progress of the download.

    Thank you !

    Hi,

I also wrote to Sucuri about the problem, here is a glimpse of their answer :

“It looks like those cleaned files are false positives on our end. Although the ‘backuply’ plugin is no longer installed on your website (because, on my side, I want this question to be resolved before using the plugin), we have gone ahead and submitted the samples to our internal development team to ensure this doesn’t alert for you in the future.”

In another words, it seems that Sucuri that has to adjust their scanning technology for these two files in Backuply plugin.

If you have other infos about this, I would appreciate.

A really nice and useful plugin. Planing to use it.

    Thank you !

    Hi,

According WordPress toolkit, in the version 1.7.4 (and/or minus) there are
    “Sensitive Information Disclosure vulnerability” and
“Toggle The Debug Mode via Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I have many sites with BulletProof Security Pro installed. And I am very satisfied with this wonderful plugin!

Some (not all) of my websites have “Genesis Blocks plugin” installed (last version 1.4.0) and it seems that there is an incompatibility between the BulletProof Security Pro version 16.3/16.3.1 and Genesis Blocks plugin because everywhere this plugin is installed there is a crash after update of BPS 16.3/16.3.1

I had to remove BPS with FTP and put back the previous version of BPS to have my website back again.

When “Genesis Blocks” is deactivated no problem. I can update BPS to the last version.

And it doesn’t seem to be linked with a specific theme, only between “Genesis blocks” and “BPS”.

    Thank you !

    Hi,
I had the same question in mind.
I found the changelog at this URL
    https://github.com/Automattic/Co-Authors-Plus/releases

    Thank you “contentmeister”

I’ve received the same message and I have the same question : “How that will affect Mailster’s SES plugin?

About this subject, we have a reference from Amazon at

    https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/signature-version-4.html

    Thank you

    Hi,
It was the first I used the plugin (with Astra theme). Version 1.4.5 was not working but 1.4.6 seems to be OK. I can see the difference it makes in the customizer.
Yes, it would be a good idea to put the new version in the plugin repo.
But, about the “destination folder already exists”, for you info., there is a plugin to solve this kind of little problem : “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” – Upgrade themes and plugins using a zip file without having to remove them first. But, surely, we can delete the old plugin and put the new version, but I find this “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” useful.
And THANK YOU for this “Central Color Palette” plugin that will be very useful. An excellent idea (tool).

Same thing for me as “gerritelbrink” :

“Checking the “Restrict for Administrators only” checkbox worked for me.”
