In reply to: URL incoming linksThere are 10 apparent links from Google inc that are displayed as Incoming Links on my Dashboard. I’m not sure why these are the only ones that are cited. I know that there are more. How can I get links from Yahoo search to be cited in this list? The program only seems to allow space to cite one URL. I need some help to manage this WP function, so your help is appreciated. Thanks.

In reply to: URL incoming linksI think that I fixed the problem with the redirect function. The link for my URL should work now: https://christianityetc.org I’m still not sure how to get a display of incoming links for my blog and site. If you could check this function for me, I would like to get it correctly setup. Thanks.

In reply to: reset blog widthApparently the 3.6.9 version provides for a “flexible width” format. Is that the same as a “fluid format”? What would I cite for the settings in order to produce a display of 800px on a tablet PC without messing up the display of my blog on other devices? I will probably download and install this latest version of your theme, but I don’t want to create new problems if I change these settings. I’m nervous about doing this, because I often run into problems when I try to make changes like this. Thanks for your help with this.

In reply to: reset blog widthThe resolution settings for my regular site are 1024 X 768, so I assume that they would be the fluid options for the maximum width of my blog with the minimum width set at 800px. Is that right? If so, where exactly do I make these settings to control the display of my blog in various devices? Thanks for your help with this.

In reply to: RSS feedSo I’ll assume that the problem is being caused by in his browser or some of his other controls. Is there some particular settings that they should check on their browser or WP controls when they encounter this problem? If I knew, I would be glad to suggest it to them. Thanks for checking this out for me.

In reply to: Contact formThe basic file for this Contact Form has been installed and activated in the plugin file for my blog, but the details for these features are not being displayed. Where do I need to go to correct this problem? What are the specific steps that I will do to follow to do so? I still need some help with this. I don’t that the form is useable as it is. Thanks.

In reply to: Google RSS feedI guess that I’ll just add a simple instruction to my blog page about this and hope that concerned users will find it. Thanks.

In reply to: Google RSS feedSamuel,
I think that the “Meta” widget is already displayed in my right sidebar. It appears to me that the links for my posts and comments are both there. Take a look; isn’t that right? Or is there something else that I need to do or to add? I’m still not sure how to fix this problem for my viewers. I appreciate your help.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Google RSS feedI’m glad to note that you didn’t have any problem with this feature of my blog. Should I cite this specific URL in the statement that I have about my blog on that page so that users can see how to access my blog from their readers? I don’t want to have to post their comments with their question and my answer over and over again on my blog. Your further suggestion regarding this matter will be helpful. Thanks.

In reply to: Tracking with google analyticsThe control for this function is in the Suffusion theme’s Blog Features, and it apparently installs and activates the java script code for tracking users of my blog. I think that it isn’t going to report any data from the pages of my basic domain statements, although the Google Analytic settings are for my basic site: https://christianityetc.org and not specifically for the subdirectory of my my blog.
Should I use a totally different tracking program and code to get a complete report of data for my basic web pages? The AWstats program from the control panel of my domain does generate a report, but I’m not sure how well it tracks the users on my blog. I’m trying to improve the SEO details on my site, so these reports should help me to do that.
I guess that the set up for my blog is OK. Your suggestions regarding programs to track the user data on my regular site would be helpful Thanks for your help with this.

In reply to: Tracking with google analyticsI still don’t know exactly where to go in my dashboard or theme settings to check on the current code or to change it for use with my blog. If I make different settings for my basic domain pages and then for my blog, which form of the code do I use in these files? If I just install a plugin for the Google Analytics service in my WP files, will that produce data for both sets of statements? I’m sorry to have all of these questions, but this doesn’t seem to me to be a simple process. I appreciate your help.
