Bump. Anyone know?
Sure, if you go to the code snippet for removing the zoom effect, there’s 3 different types of codes: removing zoom effect in 1.) front page, 2.) in posts, and 3.) if front page is also blog.
I thought the 1st code (Remove the Zoom effect (Front Page)) was supposed to be the one that worked for me, but it was actually the second code (Remove the Zoom effect (Posts)). I find this weird because my front page isn’t a blog.
My question is: why didn’t the 1st code work for me but the 2nd?
I love everything about this theme except I’d love it even more if I could just have one line of top nav. I’m trying to achieve Apple’s look where its top nav is basically all on the same line with the logo inside.
If there’s code snippets for the positioning of the social media icon, it should be possible to put all top menu items in one line, no?
*Keeping my fingers crossed*
It worked after adding all 3. Turns out the problem was because I’m supposed to use the posts code instead, which leads me to my question:
Why did the posts code work and not the front page? The zoom effect is on my front page, so it should be the front page code that works and not the posts code… Really weird…….
I’ll put one right now and update!
Edit:
I just added a feature image, but unfortunately, the zoom effect is still in place.
When I first initially inserted the code snippet, it was working yesterday. Then all of a sudden, it stopped working. I did not make any changes to the code at all.
