In reply to: Moving from hosted WordPress /blog to a full WP installationYes indeed!
I’ll see how it goes then. I think I’ll all locally first and send live after; might be less dangerous!
Thank you James ??

In reply to: Moving from hosted WordPress /blog to a full WP installationHi James
Thank you again for your help ??
I’m getting the situation now. The user is indeed the admin, meaning your first answer totally applies to the situation: I need to move WP up, closer to the root! Except for a detail
As far as I understood the link you gave me, it applied when the two sides are on WP right? Here, the other side is on… something else.
From my understanding, it doesn’t seem to be a big deal though. Specially because it’s a tiny website not too use so it might be as good to just start from scratch while exporting previous pages/files I suppose!
I’ll keep the update before closing this topic, I’m not done yet haha!

In reply to: Moving from hosted WordPress /blog to a full WP installationAlmost!
It appears that the /blog folder is not a full WordPress intall. I’m not sure what it is exactly though but you don’t have all the settings you would have on a full admin install
Thank you for the link though, I’ll take a look at it ??

In reply to: Can't change Category Slugs (no options…)Hey girlieworks.
After weeks, months to look a solution to this…
YOU SAVED MY DAY ??
It was indeed this little shit that was causing the issue!
Backup done before, I’ll look how it goes over time but I’m Finally able to change these slugs!
Thanks a million my dear ??
P.S.: for the record, it seems that it’s also a naturel behavior of going on with a Multisite from a single one. No idea why!

In reply to: Can't change Category Slugs (no options…)Hey girlieworks!
Thank you for this detailed answer.
If I understand what you said and make it clear, I should go into my phpMyAdmin (which I can), look for “global_terms_enabled” and look on meta_key and meta_value if they are on 1?
(yeah, I just said what you said but, just to be clear :P)I’ll check. Do you know what could have caused that?
Otherwise, what are the “risks” to turn it back on 0 again (since I’m on multisite)?
Thank youuu!

In reply to: Categories and subcategories messed upRefer to https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/permalinks-categories-redirecting-to-404?replies=11
for a some explanation (though answer incompleted)

In reply to: [Permalinks] Categories redirecting to 404…The problem seems to be a random bug…
To solve temporarily this trouble, I add a category prefix, which worked.
Then, after a change in my category structure, it worked normaly again without the prefix.
No idea why.

In reply to: Can't change Category Slugs (no options…)Come on guys..!
I tried EVERYTHING to make it work…
After having paused every single plugin, emptying the cache, switching to another theme, emptying the cache again, looking in every single option of my plugins…
My categories slugs are Still NOT Possible to Change! That’s a real problem…

In reply to: Blog with only Google Adsense… AlmostHi dartiss,
Thanks a lot for these information!
It makes this story more logical then!
I’ll see if there’s any way to have control over this.
Thank you again!

In reply to: Blog with only Google Adsense… AlmostHi dartiss, thank you for your answer!
I see indeed, some are allowed! Though, Dstillery or YuMe are not; which remain quite odd, no?

In reply to: Can't change Category Slugs (no options…)Hey Gttygrl!
Thank you for your input. It tends to confirm that’s it’s really happening With the multisite !
But as far as I saw the multisite settings, nothing seems to cause that… But I’m almost sure it’s somewhere there!
