In reply to: Two WordPress accounts on ONE bluehost accountYes, as I mentioned, with most Bluehost accounts you get unlimited sites. Again, you just set up the second site as a sub-domain on your hosting… This is much different from a sub-folder, as you can assign a specific domain to it.

In reply to: Migrating content from WordPress to WordPress on BlueHostwhat you will want to do is go into your hosting site, whether it’s a cpanel or whatever… then find your phpmyadmin access. normally you can login by your hosting username and pw, if not, you may need to ask them to help you with access… once you are in there you can go into your “options” and change the url there in the database… if you have issues, ping me at [email protected], and I have a video that might help you..

In reply to: Adding content to home page?Typically your homepage is your blog on a lot of themes by default. If you want to create a static homepage, you will need to create a page, call it home, add the content there. And if you still want a blog index page, you will create a page and name it blog, then just save it as a blank page.
Now go into settings > reading
Where it says “front page displays”
Click on “a static page”The select the page “home” from the front page drop down
And blog for your posts page (or leave it as is if you aren’t doing a blog.)Forum: Installing WordPress

In reply to: Removing comment box from static pagesSome themes have a global setting for this, but you can change it if you click on the page to edit, and scroll down where you will see “discussion” and uncheck the box “allow comments”. If you don’t see this it maybe be hidden and you will need to open screen options tab in upper right and click on the box “discussion”.

In reply to: No Main Page AccessDepending on your theme, most likely your main page is your blog index page. What exactly are you trying to do to it and what theme are you using?

In reply to: Transferred from free version to hosted now issuesOkay, this was really bugging me. So I installed this theme on a sandbox site I have, tried to create sub-navigation and it didn’t work.
So then I go into WordPress.com, add it, and it supports the menu feature.
Looks as if the theme is completely different when on .com and when self-hosted.
I would suggest trying to look into the theme more and see what the heck is going on.
