It seems to work well now that I take care to use only “add to my store” way of choosing the vendor…
(may be it came also from the fact that an update of woocommerce and database came up and solved the issue… don’t really know)
OK, I understand as you say that SPMV products for new vendors will need to be manually added one by one. Therefore I mark the question as answered.
For future improvement, bulk action on adding SPMV products for new vendors would be very useful (at least in my case).
Thanks for all your replies.
Thanks for your answer. I understand more and can precise my question :
I’m happy to have only one product on the frontend, so I’m interested in SPMV way of making product available to several vendors. So I would like to have several products which are already existing, all (in one bulk action) made available for sale into a new vendor shop.
Is it possible ? (or do we have to add these products one by one ?)Also if possible I would also like to create a new vendor (“duplicate” a vendor) and add all the same products of the first vendor to the new vendor as SPMV. is it possible ?
Finally I would like to know if these ways of assigning several SPMV product to a vendor can be done by the site administrator. (This would help to create quickly 10 vendors with all the same SPMV products).
Thank you very much.
OK, thanks for your reply. I will reflect on all this.
Hi, actually the duplicated products would be exactly the same, but proposed by different vendors (because buyers can only buy to the closest vendor in their village, and the other products will be hidden to the buyer using a snipped code multivendorX advised).
then all my questions can probably better be answered :
how to
– bulk action to duplicate and assign several existing products to an other vendor.
– or if not possible, at least duplicate several products in one bulk action (and I will assign them later to the vendor).
or
– duplicate a whole vendor with all his assigned products
– be able later to duplicate and assign a product to several vendors in one bulk action.to go further than the previous message, I see two possible solutions :
– to duplicate and assign several existing products to an other vendor (as mentioned before), that would be the best.
– or at least duplicate several products in one bulk action.or
– duplicate a whole vendor with all his assigned products
– be able later to duplicate and assign a product to several vendors in one bulk action.Could you please tell me if any of these actions are possible ? Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for your quick answer which gives already a good step forward.
In fact I would like to first duplicate and then assign a product to an other vendor (as for adding a new vendor for an existing product in the logic of same product multiple vendor). Is this possible also ? or do I need to first duplicate it and then assign it ? Thank you.

In reply to: [ICS Calendar] Feedlabel displayed on top of event description detailsGreat, that’s exactly that.
..and by the way, you may add in the user guide, that only feedlabel entered manualy will be displayed (as far as I noticed).
Thank you for this rapid improvement.

In reply to: [ICS Calendar] Feedlabel displayed on top of event description detailsThanks for your quick reply.
Before that though I would recommend assigning colors to the feeds and then turning on the legend. That will color code each event and show a color key (the legend) with each feed’s title, at the top of the page.
I have already done that and it is useful but not enough (some readers still don’t get it, and also I have many feeds and therefore many colors looking alike..)
and with regards to :
There’s not a built in way to do this (mainly to avoid the clutter of a lot of extra repeated text),
It’s easy to avoid that, the webmaster may just choose short feedlabels (or rename them). And in my case, I would only show the feed label in the popup, above the event details, therefore not taking loads of space).
I believe it would be a good improvement. Here below an example :CALENDAR :
An event tiltle (details of the event being shown only if clicked (or hoovered)
The next event title (details of the event being shown only if clicked (or hoovered)
Third event title, being clicked and shown in popup or other window as herebelow :
. feedlabel indication (ADDED BY THE NEW FEATURE)
. detail of the event (shown as usual)
…And finaly with regards to
it’s possible with the filters on the Developer page.
I’m unfortunately not experienced enough to be able to program such a solution… I don’t even understand which exact filter I should use and how to write it precisely (If it is simple you may provide the answer here, hoping I will manage to copy-paste it at the correct location).
Thank you.
