Thanks for your answer. I bought the Pro version but sadly the popup=false option removes hyperlink entirely which also then stops my other Lightbox plugin from doing anything so not exactly what I wanted.

I have removed these lines:

$wp_query->is_home ||
$wp_query->is_front_page() ||

from stealth-publish.php

So only $wp_query->is_feed || remains in the code. Think that will work.

No still issue. I forgot I had it deavtived so Tablepress blank screen on 0.9.4 of Tabify.

I was on 0.9.2 of Tabify which works fine with Tablepress.

Nevermind. Going back to 0.9.4 from 0.9.2 seems to have fixed it.

What if you want to do this but need fuzzy url matching for my forum pages where there new urls on every new post?

Yes but Simple Press forum topics must not be seen as a new posts. At least it does not show up in the widget unless I complete clear the cache manually.
