Yes disabling the plugin solves the problem. Then all Edit Post links appear all the time.

I’m curious could a plugin be made like yours but working with Insert CFI button which fills the a regular standard custom field in WordPress? Or is that impossible? Im seeking a way of getting picture url into a custom field without having to copy and paste the url.
