    Hi,

Please be advised that after 2 years without an update or confirmation of ampatibility, the plugin may be considered abandone by WordPress.

“The Plugin “Social Sharing Buttons by ThemesMatic” appears to be abandoned (updated 27th November 2017, tested to WP ). Type: Plugin Abandoned.”

Can you confirm compatibility with current WordPress and PHP versions and address old support isses that were never answered?

    Hi @malae

I have update the files in Github today and waiting for an update.
The other 2 issues that you have mentioned in previous posts were also updated.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I apologize this has gone without an update this long.

Thank you for your attention to these issues, However they cannot be considered resolved until the plugin is updated and made available via WordPress.

I’m having some issues updating the plugin through svn.
Even while using the tutorial by WordPress: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/how-to-use-subversion/

Do you have any recomendations on a clear way to update plugins through svn?
    Thanks @malae

I have had trouble myself with SVN and cannot offer much help in using it. Probably like you, I am more familiar with GitHub and by coincidence I just received an email from Make WordPress Core on the subject and you may want to check it out:
“Starting today, an experimental feature has been added to Trac that will let you link GitHub pull requests opened against the official WordPress Develop Git mirror to tickets.”.

I hope this may be of some help.

    Thank you for this!
Looks promising and will see if I can get this method to update the plugin.

    Hey @malae ,

I’ve updated the plugin to address a few of the issues Version 1.1 but the plugin page is still saying “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”.

Do you know why this is and how to address it?

    Thanks.
