Would you help me to do the same thing with years instead of categories?
I also want the articles to be in alphabetical order within each year.

The result I need is:
Category Name (as title of my page)
Year 2010
Author A
Author B
Author C
Year 2009
Author A
Author B
Author C

I’ve been searching for a long time but I can’t find the way to get back the year as a variable.

The plugin did not work because the code <?php wp_head(); ?> was missing between the head-Tags of my index document.

I think that I have the same problem (like I use WordPress for the first time, I’m not sure).
Here my example: https://www.bao-bab.eu/wordpress/?cat=3&lang=fr (first steps of construction).
The error message say that I should have a flash player (ok, I do have one) and that my browser should accept Javascript (ok, it does).
